AO catarina tile - smudges and sealing?

I have the matte finish AO Catarina on my bath floor. It seems to smudge easily. Especially from dog paws and some shoes. Has anyone else noticed this?

It's also pretty new and has not been sealed. I have the same tile in my shower but polished finish. Any recommendations on sealing the tile? I've never done it before.
