How Do I Find what bit is on my system

I need to uninstall my current virus program using their uninstall program and then install the new version. There is a note on the instructions that "The 64 bit version of Windows XP is not support by this product at this time".

I went to system information and under System Directory is listed: C:\Windows\system 32. Is this what I should be looking at? Or is there some place else I should check?

I have email them, but no response so far.

Or go to control panel/display/settings and there you have it!

How do I find the temps of the different wash cycles on my Electrolux?

I did my temps with a kitchen thermometer too. Mine locks but if I turn off the power button it will unlock. Sometimes it unlocks automatically and sometimes I have to choose a cycle and hit restart, I guess it depends on where it is in the cycle. I have time to check the water before it drains. I just start the cycle over afterwards. I’m thinking about the Electrolux so if you find temps please post? I have the dryer already.

They'll almost always be absolutely fine, just with a few bite marks in them. Been there, done that, had arrays of bite marks like a dot matrix printer in the leaves of many, many plants because my beloved Sage liked to do that. The Calathea is also completely cat safe, so the reverse is true as well, the cat will be fine. If you can separate the two (yeah, I know), great. If not, prepare yourself for leaves with tiny bite scars that look like vampire marks on them, just from rows of teeth. Once a cat decides it likes a plant, the plant is not safe. To deter the cat, the same spray I use for rabbits sometimes works, and a cat is a lot smarter than a rabbit. Spray the plant with this and the cat learns fast: In 1 qt water: 1 tsp Tabasco sauce (not enough to hurt, but it does not taste good) A few drops white glue (ditto) 1 drop soap or dishwashing liquid (the soap is better in this case due to the cat and I wouldn't use dishwashing liquid; outside it doesn't matter) Gently spray the plant, just a bit. The cat won't like the smell or the taste and should avoid it. Reapply if necessary, and more heavily if necessary. It usually isn't.

you can always find your windows info by going to My computer > right click> properties. There it is.

susieq07, that's the display properties, not necessarily the same as the processor "bits". Mine happens to be the same, actually.

I already know I have the mere, dinky-squat 32 bit version, but looked at My Computer > Properties anyway. Nowhere do I see that info, unless one just happens to know which instruction set is used by the processor. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

My Computer>Properties shows that I have the AMD Athlon 64 processor, but I have the 32 bit version of Windows. So where does one find this information??

Grandms, easiest way for me anyway, is to go to start/search and type in system. When the list comes up, click on system information. Under item (on XP, and think Vista is similar), look for system directory, and in the line opposite it, you should see either 32 or 64.

if it does not state 64bit version then it will be the 32 bit version if you did have the 64 bit version of windows it would state
* Microsoft Windows XP 64-Bit Edition

Like it would say
* Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
* Microsoft Windows XP Professional

also in the same location it does tell you your computer info below that and if you have a 64 bit processor it will state that there as mine does.
The standard fare for windows has been 32 bit so it did not state that since it would be obvious but now that there are so many 64 bit systems out it will state if it is 64 bit.

you can get to the same info by going to start>control panel>system, leads you to the same system properties box.

and yes the display properties are not what was being asked about, different item.

also the extremely valuable free tool belarc will tell you a wealth of info about your computer, I recommend everyone get it and do a print out and keep it available should it be needed.
