lost desktop link

I have a windows 7 computer & use firefox.

A few minutes ago I was saving some of my new Great-grandson pictures to the desk top.
I was 1st saving them to the desktop. Then I'll move them to dropbox & My pictures in the library . I'm not sure what I did but now I no longer have a desktop beside the document library....What I was doing is writing a name & when I finished & looked up the name wasn't there & my desktop wasn't either. I now have FAVORITES where it was. I'm not even in IE.
I don't know what to do.

There are so many places one can see the desktop folder - so its hard for me to understand exactly.

If you go to "C:\Users\SUGAR \Desktop"
and can right click your real desktop folder and choose send to.... Desktop(create shortcut) ...and then go to your desktop and drag that shortcut from the desktop.. to where its missing.

Mikie,I don't know where to paste "C:UsersSUGAR Desktop"

I tried the search & that doesn't seem to be right..

Thanks, Woodsy2; it's not the same site, but it is the same recipe...and your recipe included the herbs I added! I just caught Harry trying to sample some of the veggies; Thankfully my reach was longer than his tongue. He's my omnivore puppy and begs for all things veg or fruit.

You most likely moved it into another folder. It's still there, just somewhere else. Restarting your computer will do nothing.
Do you know how to do a System Restore? Just go to the box at the bottom left corner and type in "system restore". Then pick the last restore date that it shows. Let it do it's job and everything should be back to the way it was afterwards.
