I ran it, it says I should have computer checked out.

Also went to Landzdown, can't relog in, lost password. Gmer stopped while running.

Loaded program from bleeping computer. Killdisk, but am hesitant to run it. I discovered several of my services had been disabled, not sure if killdisk is even on the floppy. What happens if it's not? I do have 6 recovery discs from HP. Have used them in the past. Sorry if I sound disconnected. 8 new programs on desktop, at last count.

any advice? thanks

    I see where garmanma has responded to your post in BC.
    Not following you around, I am a 'part time' help mod over there. 8)

    You would be wise to follow the advice given and do exactly as said.
    If garmanma says that the HJT team can help .. They can.

    Don't run a killdisk program until or unless they tell you.

    Sometimes it takes awhile for a response to a HJ post but they do get back to you as quick as they can.

    did you post anything at LzD? if you want me to help you there let me know. I would need to know the user name you registered with.

    If you are following through with assistance at BC then please continue there, we do not like to have multiple posts on various help forums from the same person with the same problem, spreads the help too thin and makes it too difficult to keep up with what has been run.
