To avoid further delay in filling my rosebed gap, I'll have to consider another red upright miniflora/miniature rose. Perhaps Memphis Magic offered by Almost Heaven. Thanks again :-)

This thread aroused my curiosity so I decided to try saving a slide from a powerpoint presentation. The only one I found in my email was on the Hubble. I had the same problem as gloriam trying to save a slide. My version of MS office is ancient (Office 97) because I have been using the free Open Office. When I couldn't save the slide using powerpoint viewer I decided to try the impress module in open office. When I opened the powerpoint presentation in impress this is the screen I got: I found that I could right click on one of the slides in the left hand column, select 'copy' from the context menu and paste the slide into any graphics program. If you want to view the presentation and save photos from it I find that I can do so using OpenOffice. After installing open office (which is free) I find that I can save a PowerPoint presentation to my computer, right click on it and select 'open with' and pick open office and it opens in the impress module of open office. The pictures are in a row on the left and I can select one then right click and copy and paste it into paint or another graphics program and save it into a folder on my computer. I don't know if you can do this with powerpoint viewer or not as I have never used it.
