Okay, I checked my printed copy of my recent Belarc Advisor findings, it indicates I have Microsoft Office 2003. Now how do I know if I have the Service Pack 2 for that? I don't see it listed in their findings. Where else might I find it if I have it? Thanks for the information and your time. Using XP.

this is the update to your Office program NOT your windows operating system. If you do not have Office 2003 ignore this please.

sapphires the best way to know is to go to the update page there and click on the update button and see what it tells you. You may also try looking in your add remove programs to see if it shows your office updates listed there.

Open Word (or any other Office app), then click on Help and About....you'll see SP2 or SP3 near the top of the dialog box.

Did as you suggested opening both MS Office Imaging and Ms Word both 2003 clicked on help and nothing in the dialog box about SP2 is there. Should I get SP2 at least somewhere? Do I need it? Thanks.

Security updates released after October 14th will support only Service Pack 3. If you use (Office 2003), make sure you have updated to SP3. So you next move is to click on revencajuns link in the first post and read "Description of OFFICE 2003 Service pack 3" and install it.

It's important to keep Windows updated as well as the other programs installed on the computer.

sapphires just click on the update link it will scan your system and give you the updates you need if you are not up to date. Then you will have to get sp3 as zep said before the end date.

No no I did not read a word of it I just posted it for the heck of it! Good grief. YES I read it, that would be why I posted the LINK to it.

I don't even have office 2003 I was simply trying to be helpful and give a heads up to those who do.

I personally do not care
I was clarifying because there was much confusion in other places about the 2 sp3 updates? both being called sp3 was confusing people.

I have the Office 2003 updated with SP3 since it was first available. I have never had any problems at all with the program and I use it every day.

After reading the known issues, I was wondering why anyone would want to use the SP3 if they didnt have it. Yikes!!!!

Office SP3 has not caused me any grief at all! I don't use Access though, it appears that is where most of the issues arise.
