from one of the other forums I am on, using this link to access yahoo mail should take you to the classic view. https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.src=ym&.done=http%3A%2F%2Fus.mc817.mail.yahoo.com%2Fmc%2Fwelcome this link is down below in clickable form might give it a try and see if it works. Mine is still in classic so I can't try it. this was another option mentioned That I saw Go to my.yahoo.com ; in the Personal Assistant box click on Mail. If you don't have a box with mail you can choose options and select on to be Mail. Then hover over the Mail envelope and you'll see your emails. Click on one and voila, it brings you straight into classic interface. Here is a link that might be useful: log in link for classic view

on the thread Bob referred to the last 2 posts I put on there are the options that are working. Here is a link that might be useful: log in link for classic view

Partymusic, sorry, I don't have experience with Yahoo, but I want to address Lars' complaint about Gmail. Lars, in Gmail you need to "label" any messages you want to save, and then Gmail will make folders for you. The icon for "label" is in the row at the top, to the left of "more." You can label the message multiple times (for example, by names of correspondents or by subject ... whatever you wish; you can also nest subtopics under main topics). The message will remain in your inbox until you decide to "archive" it (in the row at the top, it is the first icon on the left, a down-arrow). When it's archived, it will disappear from your inbox, but you will see a list of labels (i.e., email correspondents or topics) on the left, and you can click and view it again. So the list of labels/correspondents is really a list of "folders." Sue

I was using the full address, just as on my desktop. I finally did the HELP thing, and they wanted my cell phone. I don't have text enabled, so did not enter that. When I typed in an alternate EMail, message says they don't have that one in their records. So I clicked on "Can't access either one", and they sent an Email with reset information to be accessed tomorrow afternoon. Funny thing - if I still didn't have the desktop to receive the Yahoo Email, and I can't log in on laptop - how in the world would I have been able to reset?? Just doesn't make sense. And I hope tomorrow afternoon I will be able to reset and log in on laptop. I don't have a positive feeling about it!
