Probably a pentium 400 cpu so just a guess, could be old PC-100 or PC-133 Sdram. $15 - $25 for a new stick of 128mb or 256mb. Could be your local computer shop would have a pair of used 128mb sticks they might want $5 each for. Not much use for the older style memory now-adays. Some computers need the memory modules installed in pairs, some don't care if you just put one stick, or an even or odd number of sticks into it. Some motherboards have One, Two, Three, or Four slots to plug in memory. Some really old ones might have eight slots. Usually just either replace whats installed with larger MB's, or add a new memory stick or two. You'll have to look at the motherboard to see how many memory slots there are and what's installed now. You can get a good idea what is there at the below link but the results aren't always 100% accurate. You need to look see what's physically installed before making a purchase decision. Sometimes the memory scans might show 2 sticks installed yet there is only one, is the most often snafu. Memory for the most part just plugs in and out with usually a plastic or metal spring clip on one or both ends to hold it down. You need to be careful about body static killing them... I usually just barefoot it when working inside a computer case and lean a toe or arm on the case to make sure my body and the case has the same ground potentials. sorry Lynn we were posting at the same time and I did not see your question about open it online, I did get that add on to check it out but have not found it helpful for me, I also do not like to open anything with out scanning it so I am in the habit of downloading it to my pc then scanning with a right click using AV and malwarebytes. the advantage to open it online is if someone is using a pc that does not have any type of office programs on it or photo programs, with open it online you can use the options in it to for example open a document file using google apps there by not needing office or open office to view it. with pictures you can select to use their option of picnik to open the picture and do any editing you may need to do. So in those situations it can be very helpful. I have office programs on all of my computers so really don't need it for that and I have the picnik addon already in firefox and use it often so I have that base covered also. To find the options for that add on when you click on the tools list it is listed right there and if you put your cursor on it the options button is shown.

Good, then I am not neurotic about this subject. I get this type stuff all the time from organization I am a member of, for example this forum. In the case of this forum and the three or four others I frequent, I do click on the email provided link, but I don't give that site authorization to run tests on my computer. I have sent complaints to companies, investment for example, that want me to log on to the site to get my report, I always go directly to my browser and put in the URL form my source (address book). Seems strange to me that companies like PC Magazine and Panda would have practices that invite bad guys to use their name to attack.

It seems to me that you have some important constraints there already in terms of the raised hearth and the width of the brick. How high do you want your artwork to go? How much difference do you want between the height of the mantel and the height of the wainscoting? You might just get some painter's tape and newspaper and start blocking out some options so you can get a visual in terms of height and how it might look....that may help you decide. But I'm presuming you are not DIY'ing the project...a good trim carpenter will be able to help you decide. When I worked with mine, we laid out the design on his work table with scraps of molding so we could get a nice visual of how high the mantel would need to be and how far out it would stick once you stacked up all the moldings...and in my case, how much the bookcases would need to be covered on the edges for the molding to die into.
