I would not use any resolution other than the exact one that the manufcturer specified for that particular monitor, if your picture is not as you want it or your font size is not right then you need to adjust those things NOT the resolution. If you need things bigger in the font and print then you need to go into the advanced settings on the pc and change your DPI setting to a larger one. Most all monitors have button on the front for adjusting the actual picture and most have an auto button I would try doing the auto adjust to see if it will set it right that way if not then go into the individual settings there on the monitor with the buttons. Your manual should have all of those instructions. But again set the resolution for what it says in the manual for that monitor.

Mikie is no doubt thinking you have corrupt or missing files. By running sfc your computer systematically goes through the Windows program verifying the validity of those files. It is an excellent feature. However after running it you will find it necessary to visit Microsoft to install the updates created after your version of Windows. To view your Event Viewer click Start/Control panel/Administrative tools/Event viewer. Here you will be looking for red or yellow marks beside entries, double click o any for an explanation or click the link that will be on some remarks for more detail.

I love Shockwave and I really love their jigsaws. They have many kinds of games there, some are pay to play, which I don't do either, but find lots to do for free.

Well, this is good to know. I play Scrabble with a friend who lives on the other side of the country! (WA) She and I play through e-mail. The site is Lexulous.....it's free. We have two games going now, and her friend in Florida is playing with us on a third game. It's super easy to set up, and fun. (I should have played this game for one, to practice with.)
