Well I would delete the download you have for AVG, then use the link Randy provides above. Scroll down the page to the orange writing and download a fresh install of the free version. Then visit and download Crap Cleaner Then I would remove my internet connection so I am not vulnerable (been caught on that twice myself, grr). Then close your current AVG, use Windows Explorer and go to C:\Program Files\Grisoft, delete the contents then the folder. Now run Crap Cleaner to remove all remnants left on the computer. Install the AVG program. Connect to the internet and look for updates. It should show as the last 3 days, I am not running ot now so cannot give you the exact date.

Woah now! I would not say that. Only one anti spyware is barely enough. Most people install 2 or 3 as these do not normally run unless to set them to run. Having more than one of these allows you to use either and if in doubt use both at any given time. There are many free ones to choose from, all with inherent strengths and weaknesses. There are also too many sound alikes which are bad news indeed so tread warily when deciding. Here are a few reputable ones I either do or have used on my computers Spywareblaster Spybot Search & Destroy Superantispyware AdAware 2007 I also had the free AVG anti spyware program installed and was quite happy with that. We'll see how good the reports are on version 8 of their Anti virus with anti spyware built in, hopefully it will be as good as both running separately.

When you get home, Jan, plug the flash drive into a USB outlet on your computer. Double click My Computer and go to the drive letter where the memory drive is plugged in. Double click on that to open and the AVG update should show up. You have two choices now. Either install directly from the flash drive or copy the update to your computer if you have a file where you usually keep updates and then install. To install, double click the setup file and it will install on your computer.

Hi Sandra, Good information, #2 and #5 being the most important. In addition to # 2 telling us that Cardinal is the glass company, #5 tells us that Windsor made their own IGU's, since Cardinal doesn't use superspacer. You have Cardinal Glass in your doors that was put together into an IGU by Windsor. But we don't know for sure who tempered the glass, and frankly it doesn't really matter since you need it fixed no matter who did it. The supplier needs to chat with the window company and let them know that you still have belly haze and you feel that the glass is not acceptable. Either they need to fix it to your satisfaction (it can be fixed, it's actually pretty easy to do), or replaced with acceptable glass. For a bit more background, belly haze consists of microscopic scratches that occur as the glass rides ceramic rollers in the tempering furnace. During the tempering process the glass isn't laying nice and flat, it's actually changing shape and moving quite a bit. Belly haze occurs when the glass is concave (middle down, edges up) to the rollers and the weight of the glass sheet in the center is riding the rollers. If detected, belly haze can be eliminated by adjusting the settings on the tempering line, but it can be very difficult to detect in a factory setting. Unfortunately it does show up quite well in full sunlight. I am not sure what you were seeing as cloudiness (separate from belly haze), in your original post. LoE-366 will darken your glass a bit compared with clear glass, but haze and clarity parameters for all Cardinal coatings are very good and they should never give a cloudy appearance.
