Is price really a factor for one door? You only need a quart, so if you buy Aura it's going to cost you around $25. Regal Select will cost a bit less, but both will cover better than anything you could buy at Sherwin Williams or Home Depot. You could save $15 but may end up having to apply more coats and then you may need to go and buy another quart and end up with something that isn't as durable. You see it's not worth it. As a followup, we went with Lincoln Windows and I am pleased so far. Though the door hardware is not "intuitive". Hard to explain but I need to put a little slip of instructions to the door on how to lock and unlock until we get the hang of it. Wouldn't be necessary with most doors, I don't think. Oh well. They are aluminum clad. I chose the Berry color which is a dark, purply red. I would have preferred to have a reddish mohogany brown but they didn't have a color like that. Because of the aluminum, our contractor says we can paint them if we want another color which is nice to know. For now, I plan to leave them the way they came. I am definitely happy with the money savings. Now time will tell whether they are good value for the money.

I have a patio door with a single sidelight the same width as one of the patio doors. It looks like a 3 panel setup but only two of the doors open. I think they are 36" wide but would have to double check. So a bit wider that your existing opening. Looks similar to the door in the picture but i have two doors that open.
