Model located near the OHV cover. Its on the housing to the right. Get a flash light and shine this looking in front on the engine view. On my customer mower, there is a scan code for serial #, below that on the metal housing you will see the model type code. 09P702-0005-F1.... since the 9p702 shows, we must add a 0 in front to get the 6 digits for the model. There should be a number stamped in the housing, looking down between the wheels alongside the cover held down with the big T-Handle, if we are talking about a horse model. Post all, any numbers/letters/names that you find anywhere on the unit, or put up a pic, especially on the engine.

Have you contacted American Standard? When I was trying to remove, what I thought was a Moen part, I contacted Moen and they had me send a photo. Turns out it wasn't a Moen fixture, but they guided me toward the correct brand. That's a pretty cool shower kit......sure you don't want to keep it? : ) I had to replace parts to Delta shower/tub kits in a 70's house and it wasn't easy. I was limited as to the styles that would work with the existing valve and even tho Delta said it would all work it didn't. I ended up having to use some of the old parts along with the new to make everything fit. So, don't throw anything away when you start taking it apart since it may have parts you'll need that are no longer available. Also, work with a plumbing supplier (not a big box store) in finding what you need.

not to be wise, but not knowing what model it is, it's hard to say specifically. Anyway, there should be a sticker near where the adjustment screws (up/down and force limits) are that has the model number and serial number stamped on it. If you have not done so, remove the cover over the light bulb and check if the sticker is there. hope this helps
