I use it. I make slide shows that contain both stills and video. I add titles and music to them, then burn to DVD using a third party software (Roxio)

Wow! You must know how to use it then. Can you use it to just edit little movie clips? DH took some movie clips with my digital camera. He didn't know what he was doing so I got a lot of videos with his feet, the ground, his belly, so I was trying to use it to "clip" and remove the beginning or the end. I ended up with all these files in New Folder area. I havn't figured out which ones are good, afraid to delete anything. I guess my first question to you is, can I edit and save the little videos to my computer. I wanted to post some of them on Photobucket.

As long as you can load the video into Movie Maker, it is super easy to edit out those feet!

If you just want to remove parts of the beginning or end - just drag your mouse along the end of the clip (in the time line) to trim it. It will have a red arrow that points both ways. When you mouse over the ends of the video you will see the arrow.

If you goof at any time - just click the undo arrow on the tool bar above.

I have never uploaded to Photobucket. You will need to save it in a format that will allow you to upload it.

There is an awesome Movie Maker Forum that I have learned a lot from.

Here is a link that might be useful: Windows Movie Maker forums

Thanks Iowa Girl. Where are you in Iowa?

Iowa Girl, the reason I ask, I'm in North Mo. and I can see Iowa from my front yard. I checked out the web site. It looks really good. Thanks. When I open up MM I have a list of 10 folders under tasks, from me playing around with it. I have "removed" a couple that I really don't care about. If I "remove" them so I can start fresh, are they still on my computer? I thought that I had published a couple of my ones that I had already clipped, but I can't find them and I have even tried to rename them so I know that they are the ones that I fixed.

I have been using it for a few yrs. also make slide show/movies, burn to DVD's or CD's just made xmas slide show's with 5 carols added of 08 decorations to put in fam. xmas cards.. added opening card & ending card with message from us, piece of cake job..
