If you still have your old comp or access to one like it you can do the following procedure. I copied this off some site after Googling the question and it worked for me.

I found downloading solitaire from the internet led to bad infections as well as not being equivalent to the XP game(s). This way is safe and you get exactly what you previously had.

================

For users with Windows 7 Ultimate, Professional, or Enterprise, you can installXP Mode and use the games.
While most users are enjoying the Windows 7 experience and all the new features and abilities it has there are some that prefer the look of the games from Windows XP.While the functionality and game play has not changed the look has.For those of you that prefer the style of the XP versions of the Windows games on your Windows 7 PC, here are instructions to help you getting the XP versions up and running.

**You need to have a valid copy of Windows XP**

In Windows XP, use Windows explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System32.**Note that the Windows folder and System 32 folder will hide the contents of the folder by default. This is because there are system files in these locations and you should take care when navigating in these folders.** Copy the following files to a USB memory stick, or CD (whatever means you have to move files):
cards.dll
freecell.exe
mshearts.exe
sol.exe
spider.chm
spider.exe
spider.hlp
winmine.exe
Then on your Windows 7 PC, create a folder (do not put it in the Windows\system32 folder) and paste those files into the folder. Now you can either open the folder and launch games from there, or create shortcuts to the games and place them on your desktop.
For the Pinball game, it has its own folder located at C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball.You can copy the entire Pinball folder and then move it to your Windows 7 PC.**Do not put it in the C:\Program Files\Windows NT folder.**You should put it in the same folder with the card games (if you moved some of those).

mxyplx,
Thank you but I do not have access to my old computer but I do have the hard drive
. Would the info above be on my hard drive.
If yes, then I can go to a computer store and have them put this on a flash drive for me.

Geeze, having to sign into anything to play Solitaire seems absurd. If you're password isn't working and you can't access your Hotmail account, there is a way to contact Microsoft for help. You can expect to answer a bunch of questions about your account - emails you may have received, contacts you may have added, when you opened it, previous passwords, etc. Basically you have to prove to someone at Microsoft support that you are the rightful owner. But do tell them you think the account may have been hacked and the date you lost access. They should be able to look and see if the password changed on that date. Since you said you're using a "hard password" I'd be doubly sure to run multiple malware/antivirus scans on your computer to ensure that someone isn't looking over your shoulder. Of course, once you gain access to your account, change the password.

Yes for that version of Android you will need to add apps for several things but most will work, usually the ones that won't will tell you. I do not have regular angry birds I do have angry birds seasons on one of my tablets and it works fine but I do think I remember seeing something about the regular angry birds not working well on that version of android. but I have never played it much so don't know much about it. There are a LOT of game apps though that can be put on and will play fine. I have several word games, mahjong, crosswords, puzzles, solitaire, lots of jewels games and penguin games and bubble busting games. they all work fine. Like I said I get apps from slide me,( you do have to go into your pdn settings and make sure it is set to allow apps from other sites or something to that effect) I installed the little amazon app tool and I can get apps from the amazon app store, lots of free apps out there. One other place I get them that has been very clean and safe is Android Freeware Lovers In case you do not have the latest flash player app here is a link to that app apk to install. With out that some things will not work. Adobe Flash Player 10.3 IF you go here and get the skyfire browser you can view most videos in that browser it does flash and it is free. Skyfire is a browser that supports Flash content, Here is another link for it with more info and the download at the bottom Skyfire Web Browser 4.1.0 I use that browser and also Dolphin. where did you get the angry birds apk that you installed? I wonder if it could have been a bad apk. there are several of the angry birds games here on this site you might try some of these because I know many of those will play on much earlier versions of Android. Angry Birds Just in case you do not have Slide Me on there here is the link but I am pretty sure it has it. I do not have my PDN here any more I loaned it out. Download SAM

What Is The Real Question Being Asked To 'What is Timeless'

I enjoyed reading this thread and the comparison to clothing especially the LBD. I think what we should be striving for is functionality with beauty. That is what is timeless. The harmonious whole of the kitchen. By the way, I am one of those who haven't made a single change to my kitchen in 18 years (even if I hate the granite the designer picked out). I am forced to remodel now due to a flood. Let me give an example: I still wear a lot of suits and evening dresses from the 80s. In fact, whenever I do, people ask me where I got the suits so they can buy them. These suits are classic because they were cut to flatter my figure/body and would have a spectacular detail to make them stand out. They were never trendy with the big shoulders etc... The same went with my LBD. The focus was on me, the wearer, not the clothes. The proof of their classic appeal is the fact that my MUCH younger sister borrow my clothes for special occasions or meetings. The key with kitchens is to get what you love but temper it with harmonious colors or lines. Everyone's tastes will always have some differences but we all agree for the most part on beauty. Focus on the bones of the room/house and work to enhance that. I visit my cousins in France frequently and they live in old buildings in Paris and rural villages. Their kitchens are mostly original with some appliances update but they are all beautiful. I believe that this is what people mean when they are trying to find the concept of timeless. Something that pleases the eye or speak to the soul even if you don't personally like the era or style. Think of art. I dislike modern art tremendously but can appreciate specific pieces such as Van Gogh's Starry Nights or Sunflowers.

Robo - just think of the fun you'll have designing your new necklace. I like the graceful lines of the settings on your inspiration photos and the sapphire will look lovely. I didn't realize that you lost your original engagement, that is a shame. With the exception of my eternity band all of my rings have prongs and I've never caught one. I do take my pieces to my jeweler regularly to have them checked and cleaned.
