Dual Fuel or all gas range? Opinions please...

Hello appliance folks,

So my Dacor dual fuel convection range is finally biting the dust (due to recurrent electrical issues). I have to say that overall I have been really pleased with how this range cooks. But now DH wants to get an all-gas range. He cites more use out of our propane contract, and ability to broil/roast. I'm more of a baker -- breads, cakes, cookies, biscuits -- I bake at least two or three times a week. But, from what I understand the broiling thing is a valid point. On the other hand, from what I've read in the old posts I searched, the convection may not be as "good" in a gas oven.

Of course, if I could have anything in the world I'd have a separate electric convection wall-oven & then DH could have all the gas he wants in the range. But I don't have space for that.

So, what's a girl to do? Here's what I have to have: 30" slide-in, gas cooktop. Beyond that, I'm open to all of your advice & suggestions.
