it you are getting the missing .bin notification in AVG there is a work around for it , however AVG is working on it so they should send out a fix soon. If you want to do the work around here are the directions.

1) go to Updates

** if you have AVG 7.5 look at the top of that page for the link to the page for 7.5

2) make a folder on your desktop called AVG

3) download AVI: 270.6.4

4) download IAVI: / 1616

5) move the dowloaded files to the folder you made called AVG

6) launch AVG

7) select tools -> update from directory

8) select the folder called AVG where you put the downloads

That's it. Should be fixed.

What that means is this,

It means put the 2 files you downloaded into a new folder on your desktop, name that folder AVG.

Click tools from menu on AVG interface, see where it says download from directory, click that, you will see a list from desktop, double click the AVG folder in that list, update and you are done.

to create a new folder on the desktop right click and select new then folder, rename it to AVG
