The absolute most glorious tubs I have ever seen are put out by the WS Bath Collection, which is located in Pennsylvania, so I'm thinking they would be fairly close to you. Some time back I wrote a blog on these people, which is much too long to copy here, but you can click on the link at the bottom of this, if you're interested. I know it's just the cabinetmaker me, but if I had the room for it, I would most definitely choose the wooden tub I featured in that blog. It would bring to any bathroom an absolutely incredible sense of luxury, because of its shape, its coloring, and that magnificent wood. In fact my wife and I seriously considered including it in our own bathroom plans, but to do so, we would have had to embark on a major remodeling of our home or combine two adjacent bathrooms into one, neither of which holds any appeal for us. But if your bathroom plans are still in flux and you're amenable to something that is different, luxurious, and absolutely right for any bathroom in which it resides, you might want to consider WS Bath Collection.
