Apply a Grout Sealer *After* Applying a Grout Colorant?

Would you apply a grout sealant after applying a grout colorant?

Unfortunately, we probably used too much water when washing the grout after it was applied. The grout lines are faded and inconsistent. Which leads me to want to apply a grout colorant to get the color I originally wanted.

This is for master bathroom shower walls that we did in all glass tiles and then we used TEC Accucolor unsanded grout. I see that TEC makes a grout colorant in my exact shade of grout, and so that's probably the route we'll go.

The TEC colorant says it "seals," but.....this is going to be a master bath that gets used every day at least twice a day.

If I am going to go through the tedious task of applying a grout colorant, why not go ahead and apply a grout sealer after the colorant dries to make sure that grout stays looking great?

Any reason not to? Would a sealer harm it? Would a sealer discolor it or otherwise have a negative impact on a grout colorant?

I can and will call TEC, but just thought I might get some good feedback here as well. :)

Thank you
