Could you use a beige/sand colored tile? I'm doing blue as my accent color in the master bath and a dark chocolate stained vanity. Fixtures are white and glass. Trim is Dover White. Upper wall is BM's Lenox Tan. Floor and lower wall is tiled light sand colored tile that looks like travertine.
Do you have a picture of the marble? that you could post?

I was going to say the same thing-- use a neutral color, and then the blue would be the accent color for the room. I know I've trotted these pics out countless times, but again, they may provide some inspiration:

The only difference being that you're using Blue Celeste, and in the pics, it's Blue Pearl. But either neutral color-- white for a "cooler" feel, or tans or biege for a "warmer feel"-- would work with the blue stone.

I don't know what this marble looks like or the shade of blue bu here is my dark stain vanity arch (not the best picture of it), the blue "sea tones" glass tiles and at the bottom is the floor tile I'm using. I think a blue/white marble countertop would be stunning with a chocolate/espresso stained vanity. Maybe a (non stone look) ceramic in a beige for the floor for a "crisper look or a stone look for a more earthy feel?

Brian-- instead of copying the IMG line, Copy and paste the "tag line". Works alot better. :-)

Monica, Love the tiles! Would you mind sharing brand info? Did you find them online? I'd like to check out a sample since I think those colors would be perfect in my master bath. Thanks.

Ohhh, I absolutely don't mind :) I'm glad you like them. No, I didn't get them on line. The ones I have are by Westminster. It's the Bel Sol collection and the color is called "Sea Tones". I *think* you can buy them by the piece as well as the 12" sheet like I did. Sonoma also makes a crushed glass tile called Tantrum. Get ready for sticker shock tho :o Retail, the Bel Sol sells for $53+ per square foot. We didn't have to pay retail, thank goodness, but they're still MUCHO spendy! That's why I'm using them as accent. I'd love to cover every wall, floor to ceiling, with this tile but (sigh) no way that could happen. You should have no problem finding a sample board of the Bel Sol in any decent tile shop. I've been to 4 lately and they all had it. Below is the link to Westminster. Oh, they also make glass liners to match.

I'm just starting now, so I haven't been to a single tile shop, yet (minus the zillion or so I shopped at to do my kitchen a few years ago). Fortunately, I'm only looking for an accent tile as well. My bedroom has a beige travertine mosaic fireplace with maple floors (lotsa beige) and I want to tie in the pastel blues from my wall color. Already have a blue-green and white tray ceiling. I think this might be perfect!

I've used it in 3 bathrooms and (obviously) love it! First I usd it with limestone (Crema Lyon) 12/12 tiles on the diagnal - it was beautiful... then I used it with white ceramic hex = again beautiful... and I just used it with hardwood on the main floor and thassos/celeste basketweave on the shower floor... to die for beautiful. I adore that celeste blue!

kbacci14, your bedroom sounds beautiful and I'm anxious to see it all when you're finished. My bedroom has 3 blue walls and one chocolate accent wall. I'm disappointed in the blue tho. It's not the "grown-up" muted aqua blue I was hoping it would be. It LOOKED that way (still does LOL) on the strip around all the other blues, but by it's self, it looks pastel blue :( I have the same color on the ceiling of the bathroom and it DOES look aqua blue. I kinda wonder if the blue marble would have too much white to be paired with these blue tiles. They have a creamy (yellowish) porcelain frame around them. LMK what you think once you see them in person.
DH has the tile laid and should have the grout done this weekend. Then he can set the vanity and cabinet. Granite people should be here sometime next week to template. I don't know the time frame for the install. This is a DIY on the weekend thing so you may be finished before we are LOL

kbacci14, here's my blue walls in the master. Not really what I wanted...I don't think LOL I think I needed something more muted and maybe with more green in it than this has.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I don't think the blue looks like a pastel at all. The chocolate is the perfect balance and it looks like a sophisticated combination. If it had been more muted, it probably wouldn't have the vibrancy that it has now. My blue on the other hand IS too pastel! I like it at night with low lighting, but I wish I had gone a bit deeper or towards a blue gray. Sometimes it reminds me of a nursery during the day, but it is soft and relaxing. My boyfriend's daughter told me that it feels like you are in the clouds. I'm going to check out the tile in person tomorrow.
