roman collection desert tan diamond glass tile

Has anyone used this tile?? It's a blend of melted glass on porcelain and travertine. I saw a manufacturer's website which indicated that it's a pain to cut the glass tile (my editorial comment, not theirs) and you need to seal all the cut class edges with superglue (!). It's really gorgeous, and I was planning on using it only as a rectangular accent on one wall in my master shower.

I thought I could get around the cutting/superglue issue by removing the glass tiles from the paper backing wherever they'd have to be cut and substituting the travertine pieces for them. P.S. - I have not yet mentioned this little scheme to my installers ....

Oh, and it has to be sealed, too.

Someone stop me if I'm going to regret this. Otherwise, tell me I've figured out a way around all the perceived difficulties.

Thanks for your honest input (I promise not to shoot the messenger....)

Here is a link that might be useful: here's a link to the tile I love
