Chest freezer recommendations

Probably within the next year, we're going to be replacing a 12-cu.ft. chest freezer. According to one of the guys over on appliance411, this unit is older than we thought - closer to 33 years than the 27 years we thought it was. Chest freezers generally last 30-35 years, according to the appliance repairman I talked to locally. (We purchased it used back in the early 80s.)

This one is a Sears Coldspot, and was made back then by Whirlpool. I'd like something about that same size to replace it, though I'd go 13 or 14 cf. (It's stored in the garage.) The current one has to be defrosted and yes, that's the way (uh-huh, uh-huh) I like it (uh-huh, uh-huh)! I think they keep foods longer that way.

Any suggestions on models we should start to look at?

Thanks,

DonnaR/CA
