yungman, the majority there are tree guys, and the forum with the most activity is chainsaws. If you want blower advice, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. You have your own biases too. I've seen plenty of posts negating your negatives of the BR600, but not nearly the number of negative reviews of the BR00 to support your views. Then again, I am not currently actively searching for blower info. I don't go to the landscaper forums very often. Alot of folks there run Stihl but there are quite a few Husky runners also. Solo, Efco, Dolmar/Makita, old saws (Pioneer, Homelite, etc.) get some traffic also. I just looked at the chainsaw forum first page. Threads were 7 Stihl, 2 Husky, 2 Echo, 1 Shindaiwa, 2 Jonesred, 1 McCulloch, 1 Pioneer. I'd say that is not too bad. If you are not into chainsaws and want to convince everyone that they made a wrong choice with what they run, then you probably won't enjoy the site. I certainly do not think the site is perfect but it is one of my favorites, but then again, I really get into chainsaws and climbing. I certainly wouldn't expect a landscaper or forestry forum to as finely focused on my topic interests as Arboristsite.

Thanks, Martha. I tried both suggestions, but no change. Not sure exactly I've been using IE7...a couple of months, maybe? I'll be interested to see if the problem exists on my other computer. I can't tell at the moment because it needs a new monitor. Since posting the first time, I discovered that I can't open the comments to one of my blogs and I can't open the log-in screen that will let me download archived articles on a newspaper website. This is getting very irritating! I'll go see if Microsoft has some sort of help forum... Susan

It does not seem to be a network adapter issue either, as both wireless and direct connection are problematic. The next step to see if a program typically Anti Virus is causing issue. So lets boot the computer to safe mode with Networking and see if you can connect that way, lets just concentrate using a direct connection. Restart the computer, keep tapping the F8 Key, the computer will boot to the advanced boot options menu black screen with white letter. From the list presented to you, use the arrow key to select Safe Mode With Networking once selected hit enter on the keyboard. Now try to connect to only Google.com. Let us know if you can connect that way. Do not surf the internet in this mode. Please be sure to try another browser too maybe before doing all this above in case this is a silly internet explorer issue.. Joe

I'm guessing you're using IE. In IE8 it's tools > internet options > general then under browsing history click the delete button. This gives you a list of things you can delete. Select 'Temporary Internet Files' and unselect the ones you do not want to delete then click the delete button.
