Mouse troubles...

I have a Dell desktop running Win XP, and 512megs of RAM. I got a wireless, 4-button plus wheel Logitech Revolution mouse about a month ago and it installed fine. I just got through unplugging and moving my whole computer setup to another room. After I got things working again, I noticed that my mouse was acting up. Every minute or two when I move the pointer on the screen, it will freeze for half a second or so, and then jump to where it's supposed to be...trivial, but annoying. Once in a while, the pointer will totally freeze and I have to unplug the receiver or reboot to get it working again. As an experiment, I shut off the mouse, removed the USB receiver for it, and went back to my wired, 4-button plus wheel Intellimouse Explorer. I'm still having the same problem with delays, but it doesn't completely freeze on screen. I've tried plugging the USB part of each mouse into various USB ports as well as my USB hub, and continue to have the same problems. Any suggestions?
