last night, for the first time tried the "half load" option (with Auto) and decided to use a some Cascade advanced gel since have container of that left and i'm into the whole experimenting thing :) it seems that "normal" according to the manual hits a lower peak temperature than Auto can... nothing terribly dirty (not pots and pans this time, but some dried on steak fat, but it cleaned well and in shorter time than usual (maybe 1:40). i may be using this half load option more often as i think that fits our usage patterns better. i'm still very nervous about leaving dishes in the DW more than the "day of" due to a long time ago experience of ants in the dishwasher... but...what struck me was the fact that as opposed to our old GE, the house did not smell of Cascade during the DW running. i'm not opposed to that smell like many, but i liked the fact that it didn't permeate the whole house. pretty cool and suggests that the Bosch is better sealed than the GE? @kashmi: thanks for the offer. i'm not sure what tests to suggest, but i'll let you know. i do have the suspicion that one dirty item and a lot of other clean items would really be hard for the "auto sensor" to figure out, if my guess of how it works is correct (checking water clarity down the drain). in reality, i don't think i would/should be doing too many pots and pans in the dishwasher...it just isn't a good use of space. aside: i'm also recognizing the benefits of the many foldable tines in our old GE and the top level Bosch 800plus 9ER. i wish the racks in our 7ER had more foldable options, but there was no way i was going to pay an extra $700 for those options. wondering aloud: how durable are these tines anyway? i'm wondering if i should be extra cautious (i have been so far) about them getting bent by pots and pans or heavy itens resting on them (ie, when they aren't/can't be folded down)

Google web history.. while there, may not be what you mean. IE has autocomplete which saves things typed in form fields which may be what you are wanting to clear. Some of those things are logins and passwords. I know of no way to clear just the google items. But to clear all autocompletes, it that will work for you -0 in ie6 I think it goes something like this ... 1. Click on Tools in the IE menu 2. Select Internet Options 3. Select the Content Tab 4. Click the AutoComplete button 5. Click Clear Forms 6. Click OK 7. Click OK again ~ Alternatively; If you think google is saving the search terms,(which they do for everybody) google search box might forget them if you were to delete the google cookies.

I think there's probably a tradeoff with the heat in the kitchen. The Bosch speed oven has a fan that does a very good job (too good!) of cooling the electronic board/mechanism by blowing all the hot air right into the kitchen. And for good measure, it stays on a few minutes after the cooking cycle's finished. This took a little bit of getting used to, as we weren't accustomed to hearing a fan running when something wasn't cooking. My impression (from reading/rereading the manual and from deciphering the Bosch sup's explanation) is that AutoChef 1-8 (the non-brownie modes, I call them!) do use a combination of microwave and convection. I've been cooking for so long that it's almost more work trying to work through the various modes and figure out what they all are. As I mentioned up top, I don't feel like experimenting with a meal: when I'm hungry, I wanna eat! :) If I'm ever feeling adventurous and have plenty of time to fiddle, I'll try one of the AutoChef meals/modes and report back. Right now, we're still in month 18 of a kitchen reno that has gone far too long. ETA: I did just have a tiny spark of a lightbulb moment. Why not grab a pyrex casserole bowl or an 8x8 glass pan, fill it halfway with water, insert the metal baking rack in the oven, then 'pretend' you're cooking a small AutoChef meal. Keep an eye on the red light icons to see if it switches back and forth between convection and microwave.

You should know that not giving OnStar permission to share your data doesn't mean it isn't collected and stored. Consumers do have to opt in to provide the data. Insurance companies will either use the generic scoring offered or create their own models. Those models are validated and approved for use by the states insurance commissions. When an insurer is calculating potential loss rates, they are not necessarily looking at new car values as much as the cost of repair. Although I personally had a car totalled out by insurance last year, typically a car is repaired and not replaced. The cost of parts and labor is an important factor in rate increases. Along with increasing frequency and severity of losses, all costs involved in repair have gone up significantly. Talking about rate increases, an insurance company cannot raise rates independently. They must submit information about losses and justify the rate increase they want to take. They take into consideration the loss rates and expenses against the premium collected and investment income on the premium. Then the state insurance commissioners will approve or deny the rate increase. Also of note, rental car agencies and truck fleets also use telematics to keep track of vehicle usage and location.
