I can't help with Cortana other than to say it's similar to Siri or Google Now. As for your email, who is your email provider? Do you have a Hotmail account (username@hotmail.com) or some other account? Incredimail is just "reader" that allows you pull multiple email addresses into one place. Microsoft has offered "Outlook" in a variety of forms over the years. The full blown Outlook was part of their Office suite and beyond being a reader offered contact management, calendars, and notes. There was also Outlook Express, which was a basically a reader. Today Microsoft offers Outlook online which is basically Hotmail with a new domain. Why don't we start with the domain of your email account and see if we can figure it out from there. Don't post the user name, use the part after @.

Verizon changed its pricing model. It used to be that phone calls were measured (you paid for different levels of minutes of usage) and data was unlimited. Now it's the opposite, they're pushing unlimited call minutes and tiers of data usage. There was a date in June, before which you could start one last 2 yr period of unlimited data IF you already had an unlimited data plan and had an upgrade to use. Otherwise, no longer available. I think other carriers have similarly put an end to unlimited data. Why - because they can, and with the popularity of smart phones, data is driving usage (and stressing system capacity) more than calling is. The resulting 2gb limit is high. I'd say it's bordering on impossible for one person to reach with normal use UNLESS someone wants to watch movies and TV in a location where Wifi isn't available OR uses their phone for navigation A LOT.

You can see one of the differences in the screen shots you posted. In the lower shot (Android/IPad) on the right, the route doubles back onto Drayton Street where the upper shot (PC) goes to Bull street and takes a left. Not shown is where the original map (PC) shows turning left onto Jones Street where the Android/IPad map shows making a left turn a block later onto Charlton. mtv, back in the day, it was generally cheaper to buy your phone outright rather than to subsidize the phone. When you subsidized, you paid the $100 or $200 up front, but the rest of the cost of your phone was built into your phone plan/contract. When you get to the end of your contract, the you've paid off the phone. The trouble with how that use to work, is that when you pay off your phone, your plan doesn't go down, so you were still paying more for that phone cost for no benefit. You would religiously need to update at the end of your contract to not throw money away. But, now most contracts are on the phone, and not your plan. So when you pay off your phone cost, your monthly premiums reduce, also why you normally don't have to switch plans when to get a new phone subsidy anymore. Depending on that monthly cost, you're typically going to spend the same paying up front via monthly payments. The difference maker is going to be device sales, and reduce priced phones (like older phones, or refurbished).
