Welcome JMLz16! Thats a nice list of palms. That fishtail palm must be a beauty and San Franciso defintiely has a pretty good climate for many different palms. Heres an updated list of my palms... I so appreciated getting all the store locations! I've done a little shopping but will make a note to remember to start again next Thanksgiving. newhomebuilder - that little honey is gorgeous :) Your bulbs are pretty too, I like the ribbons. maire_cate - glad you found the lights... so far, I've only looked for ornaments. I think I need to research lights more before purchasing any. I found an ornament II liked at Lord&Taylor, so have ordered ten, thanks for the idea. runninginplace - what great scores! I checked online and haven't found much; was in Target yesterday (buying a dutch oven which I've realized since, I have already) and noticed that they were starting to dismantle the holiday section but that there appeared to be some serious markdowns. iheartgiantsnauzer - thanks for the recommendations. teacats, pdg77 - thanks for the ideas, I'll make a note to remember Michaels. I went and browsed through all. lascatx, hollykay - I think you're right that shopping right after Christmas is the key. Oakley - glad to hear! Here's what I found. Loved the Frontgate ornaments shown (out of stock unfortunately). Lord & Taylor had the kissing ball ornaments which I thought were pretty, so I ordered 10. I've received the Tiffany/Waterford/Swarovski ornaments as gifts but have been too cheap to buy myself. I thought the prices were decent so bought one of each. An appraisal for insurance purposes is based on retail replacement. If your stone is lost, stolen or damaged it's what you'd pay to purchase an identical piece at full retail. It's not what you would be able to sell it for. You pay retail when you purchase it but if you try and sell it yourself you won't get what you paid for it. The price you pay includes mark ups by the mining company, cutter, broker, wholesaler, retailer etc. That's the nature of the jewelry business. A complete appraisal contains not only the replacement cost but also a detailed description including: size, color, clarity, cut and even the grading of the cut. Additionally it would state if the stone was natural or had been enhanced by chemicals or heat. You can fill a fracture in a diamond or irradiate it to turn it yellow. Colored gem stones have been subjected to so many different treatments that it makes a huge difference in value if it's a natural emerald or one that's been color enhanced. The average jeweler in the Mall probably won't have the expertise or equipment to make those valuations. A reputable jeweler should allow you to return the piece within 30 days if you have it appraised elsewhere for less. You can always use an independent appraiser who isn't attached to a store. I have GIA appraisals which give a detailed description but don't list a monetary value. Stones with a GIA certificate sell for significantly more money than those without a GIA. The stones sold on Blue Nile come with a GIA certificate so the prices listed there usually are higher than what you might find elsewhere. I simply linked to that site because it's easy to use.

For non-word games, I also like to play solitaire games, but get bored when playing the same one for too long (6+ months). My current is Solitaire Grand Harvest. I don't play daily or even weekly, but I do build up coins for when I do play. I also like Blockudoku. Have only been playing it a short time. DD2 and her DH introduced it to me when they were visiting. I do the Daily Challenge and sometimes the Events. I don't do Tournaments. Will do a "new game" a few times a day. Also Mahjong, but don't recall exact names. I've played other games but delete apps regularly when I'm not playing.
