it is moving fast I had posted the below on another thread firefox is on a very fast track in new versions blazing fast in fact. Just read a good article on it. So we can all get used to the new versions coming in very quickly. Firefox 7 is already in alpha and is expected to go to public beta on August 16 around which time Firefox 8 will go to alpha and Version 6 will be officially released. doing these quick updates really mess with the add-ons authors as they try to keep up with the speed of the changes in the new versions. So that leaves us with some of our fave add-ons not working while their authors scramble to keep up. I tend to stick with the version that all my add-ons work with till I am sure which ever new version also has working add ons then I move on.

YouÂre not crazy and I can understand the desire for aesthetics and comfort. But be sure to understand that you cannot just install these in place of the fin tube if it was piped in a series loop. You see the first radiator will be hot and everyone after that colder and colder. The distribution system will need to be changed some like monoflo systems but the best way to do it and do it right is two-pipe reverse return. That way the first radiator on the supply is the last on return making the first on return the last one on the supply. This equals even flow at each radiator and allowing you to manually or thermostatically control each individual radiator with out affecting flow to others. In addition proper boiler piping such as primary/secondary may be required to eliminate condensing or shock depending on boiler model and design. Unless of course you invest in a good modulating condensing boiler which, loves cool water and saves money while offering even more comfort due to varying water temps based on outdoor temps.

Thanks everyone for your constructive advice. I am seriously considering changing the cabinet fronts to those white ones from the Adel series. Also removing the cabinet right next to the window so that the only wall cabinets would be on the stove wall (ANY THOUGHTS ON CABINET REMOVAL?) I wish I could add tall pantries to either side of the stove wall but unfortunately the new configuration won't allow it. Therefore I don't think I should add shelves to the stove wall b/c then tenants would have no place to put their canned goods--although I considered placing tall wardrobe closets in the dining room to the left of the sun room (see pic in photo bucket) in the same style/color as the kitchen cabinets. It's only a short walk back to the kitchen bar. Not the best solution, but would allow much more storage and shelves & short cabinets on stove wall(ANY THOUGHTS ON DINING ROOM PANTRY IDEA?) Nothing I can do now about the sink placement so I'm ok with living with it (ANY THOUGHTS ON WHETHER FAUCET IS TOO LARGE?TALL FOR THE SINK/CABINET CONFIGURATION?). I've decided to forgo the French marble mantel--anyone in the DC area that wants to buy it :-)? I like the idea of minimizing the brick by installing a wood surround. My concern with painting the brick white is that so many people lament that treatment and the labor to remove the paint (ANY THOUGHT ON THIS CONCERN?). I will post final pictures! Thanks everyone! I have had terrible problems with slugs and cutworms this year also. I was the crazy lady on the block, after 9 pm with a flashlight and tweezers. Yuck! I also did the beer thing, which helps, but I would have needed a beer truck to keep up.......hahaha. So, what other hosta growers have told me to do a 10% ammonia solution. The trick is to start in fall applying it to the hosta garden. Then do the same thing in spring just as the pips are coming up. I believe you can use a higher % if you want. I learned that once the slugs are the munching away, you have lost the battle. Right now isn’t the best time to be buying from nurseries or big box stores. It’s the end of the season and their hostas are picked over and depending upon your growing zone, they may be getting brown in preparation for going dormant. You can order online, but most nurseries or hosta farms won’t ship until the appropriate time. The hostas in your pictures look stressed, maybe too much sun, not enough water? You want to keep them watered so they don’t die. If you want to move them now, again keep them watered well. Hostas can look different depending on your location, amount of light and what time of the season it is. Many look a certain color In spring, but a very different color later in the summer. I would recommend doing whatever work you Intend to do now and then over the winter, take some time looking at photos of hostas you may like for your yard. Krossa Regal is a great one to start with. On on the front page of the Hosta Library, there is space that says Rawson‘s hosta list. Click on it and it will give you many ways to search for hostas by their characteristics, such as——leaf size, hosta color, plant size. Once you find something there, check it out in the Library where you get several different views of the plant. There is also a plant comparison link where you can choose two different hostas and see them side by side. Wishing you good luck, you have quite a lot of room for hostas!
