Shower Curtain - Will this work?

At some point in the hopefully near future, our now gutted small master bath will have a new air tub (doubles as a shower), with a tiled floor, tub surround area, and tub apron. I would prefer a shower curtain to a shower door but am wondering how to do this and not hide the tile. I don't want to keep the curtain closed so I can show off the tile, so I'm considering a shower curtain with panels so it can be left open, with one panel on each side. The fabric liner would be drawn to one side. I was planning to sew the curtain using soft, "flowing" fabric, so I can do whatever configuration would look best. The swag shower curtains with the ruffles is not at all the look I'm looking for -- something more sleek. Should I leave it as just two separate panels, or add in some type of valance? I thought the shower curtain would add a "softness" and "warmth" to the room and allow me to combine the beige of the tile, brown of the accent tile, and an accent color of seafoam green.
