French Door Fridge with inner drawer bins that don't stick
Comments (10)We were all set on a Samsung CD FD until I read the terrible problems people have had with freezing coils. And over on Appliance Guru it seems that Sammy doesn't like to pay thier service folks and many don't work with Sammy anymore. Maybe these have all been resiolved, but I crossed them off my list. We're now looking at KA, but we're not buying anytime soon....See MoreLiebherr Integrated 24in Fridge/Freezer - Anyone Have One Or Two?
Comments (4)We have one of the 24" fully integrated Liebherrs adjacent to a 30" Thermador Freedom refrigerator. The Liebherr was installed in September '09. Yes, we love it, although the best thing about this refrigerator is that I don't even notice it's there most of the time: it's dead quiet. Since we have a full freezer in our lower level, we didn't feel the need to have much freezer space in the kitchen, although I am surprised just how much we can stuff into those three freezer drawers. Sometimes I cram in so much that it's a bit difficult to open and close the freezer drawers, but that's entirely on me. The Liebherr has become what we call our "condiment refrigerator." It holds MANY bottles plus extra milk, eggs, seltzer, and the like. I will say that right after it was installed, I was a bit disconcerted by the condensation running down the back wall even though I knew it was part of the refrigerator's normal operation. I have not noticed much, if any, moisture on that wall for quite some time which may be because most of what we store in the Liebherr is sealed. All in all, I am very happy with it, especially since it was a floor model that we purchased at a deep discount....See Moreliebherr fridges - Sara is not correct
Comments (2)bryanbm, if I had time I'd go read the Liebherr manual and post what it says about its beeper noise. Maybe you can program it to be louder. I would call Liebherr. Then I might agree with you. Maybe. Meanwhile, I'll thank Sara here and in the other thread too. I can appreciate Your Frustration but I have no indication yet that this is a problem for all Liebherr. Don't start a brand new thread to rebut anyone. Always call the manufacturer of any appliance. Always read the manual. Then, post what it says and how it does or doesn't handle the problem you had....See MoreFridge surround -- I don't think this is right
Comments (21)My thing is, I don't think I'll see the cabinet guy tomorrow. The cabinet is attached to the end panels only, since it's sitting out from the back wall. Could they switch out the cabinet after the floor install and before the fridge install? Could they also switch out the cabinet after the floor and fridge installs? (This speaks to whether I'll push for a new cabinet or not.) Also I want as much as humanly possible done that affects FUNCTION before I return to work on 8/11. I'm already taking at least a partial day off for some appliance installs on 8/13. If it's something that I don't HAVE to be there for, I can have someone else be there with workers. But I REALLY need to be there for counters, etc. Thanks so much ajc for talking me off this ledge....See Moredavidro1
