Golddust, I am going to offer you my help. I rarely help people but I think you will benefit from this. Ship me your Neorest, I will install it and verify that there are no problems with it and ship it back to you:-) I think the previous poster had a faulty install. I went over to the Terrylove forum where Terry installs a crap load of these and they are no mentions of problems with the Soiree, Lloyd and Guinevere. Maybe you can post on that forum and find out about installing the Neorest and make sure it is installed correctly. As I mentioned on the previous thread, Toto really has great customer service and I don't think the homeowner has engaged them. The Terrylove forum is another place to post questions and I don't know that the poster has done that. Also, if I don't like a product I will be returning it for something that functions properly. I have a low tolerance for things that does not work properly. Good luck!

The Toto Aquia is a very nice, comfortable toilet. It was originally made to work in a quick replacement commercial environment so the flange adaptor installation is fairly unique and permanently attaches to the floor. This will makes things more complicated if you later wish to go back to an older style toilet. The two buttons are simply over ridden by pushing down and holding them down which a person not familiar with the system would usually do. There is little water in the bowl and a premium on bombing accuracy and pre positioning of toilet paper. It is a toilet best suited to exclusive ensuite private use by adult married couples in North America. Given your space requirements, best to get something more conventional. MN, First, you need to know that I am no expert on this stuff. However, I have worked hard to become self-taught based on intense research (that I'm guessing many people on this site do to survive replacing/remodleing their homes). So, for what it's worth... I've received one message from someone that a toilet similar to a Senry didn't work well. But - that's one person's experience and it *wasn't* a Senry. From what I've learned, Toto is qualitatively different from other toilets. The engineering of their toilets make them much more likely to function properly. Again, I'd check Terry Love's website (mentioned above) and surf around a bit. I'm including a link that gives a great explanation of Toto's functioning (go down to comment #9). Personally, I think of toilets and mattresses as items that are well-worth purchasing wisely. They are important parts of our daily lives. A couple of extra bucks spent now are well-worth being happy with your purchase. So, I'd go for the Toto, even without seeing it work (your store had it hooked up?! How cool is that!). If you are greatly concerned, I guess you could carefully choose a retailer that has a liberal return policy in case you don't like your final selection. One final word - we are going for the Ultramax as the toilet will be used by our guests as well as ourselves. I would consider the dual-flush Toto (which has a somewhat lesser flushing mechanism) if we were buying something for our master bathroom. In any case, good luck! diadon- Even if you are in an area where Toto is not widely available, they are easy to order online. They are widely available where I live, but I ordered my most recent one from Amazon since it was the best price, even with shipping. There is nothing exotic about installation: you or a plumber will have no problem. I like them because they are simply a high quality, reliable product. I now have four of them in my house and have never had a clog in 10 years.
