I'm glad it's working better. Windows Defender is a poor security program. It ranks very low when compared to other products when all undergo testing and performance assessments. Much better protection is available at no cost and maybe requiring only 10 minutes or less of your time to get and install. First choice - check the website of your internet service provider (or call customer service). Many furnish top quality security programs to customers for no charge. As an example, I get Norton (an excellent performer) from Comcast. Second choice - Look at the following link for ratings of free versions of security software. While I think these are maybe a step down from the paid versions of the same programs, all are better than Windows Defender. Choose one of the three from left to right for the top rated ones - Avast, AVG, Bitdefender. PC Mag ratings of free security programs Good luck.

Try blowing on the laser hole on the bottom - sometimes dust wads can accumulate and make the mouse act odd. Or, if it's wireless, replace the batteries. If these steps don't work, a new mouse is cheap - less than $10 for a PC (non-Apple) type. It's not worth your time to wonder and flounder with it.

Definitely remove Mighty Mouse from that large pot and plant it by itself. But before planting wash it well, especially the undersides of the leaves. Then spray with some kind of insecticide thereafter to make sure you got rid of the spider mites. Check on the plant every few days or so. Spider mites are difficult to get rid of when indoors, but outdoors it is easier. I have elephant ears during the summer. I never had a problem with spider mites on my elephant ears until I overwintered one in my house. Never again. Now I just overwinter the bulbs and plant in spring.

Update===>>>I planted the two pieces of crown in a pot. The next morning when I went out to check out the pots.........one piece of the crown had not only been dug up......it was no where in site!!! Who would dig it completely up? I mean there was only a 1/2 inch showing!! A squirrel????I can just see it now, grey squirrel running around the neighborhood with a very small piece of crown in its mouth and six inches of roots trailing along behind! Any other thoughts? 😆😆😆 debra
