that would depend on what kind of errors you are having, can you tell us what the error messages are and what Operating system are you on?? XP?
Errors can be cause by so many different things, could be files that have become corrupt, spyware on the computer, viruses, conflicting programs.

You should be able to change your email address here by going way up to the very top of the page and click on Your Profile, it will then make you enter your user name and password and login(even if you are logged in) that will open your profile area and you can change the email address there (type it in 2 times) then at the very bottom of that page click on the save information button.

I am using XP Home Addition, IE. and OE.
The next time the error comes up I will copy what the screen says and get back here. A small screen always comes up and asks me to report the error to Microsoft. I do that and worry that I should not have?....smile!

well she probably does not want to switch over to linux, I love linux but not everyone is ready to make the jump yet.

Betty sending the message to microsoft is nothing to worry about that is supposed to aid them in determining when one of their programs is having issues and what triggered the problem.
The IE error you posted is a very common one and any number of things can cause it to happen. First do you have all of your windows updates done and up to date? Because when they find problems they do send fixes out through the updates, so make sure you have all of those.
Is the error happening on one particular website or is it random and are you doing anything specific when it happens? For example playing a web based game or viewing a video etc.

One of the first things to do when IE is involved is to clear your cache and cookies because they could have some bearing on how IE works. So try doing that.
in IE go to tools, internet options, clear temporary internet files and cookies, you can clear history also if you wish. See if that helps.
Have you thought of downloading firefox browser and using it instead of IE? It is in my opinion a much better browser and is safer. Plus you can add so many great extensions to it. Plus it ask you if you want to put your IE favorites list on it when you do the install.

Sometimes it can be a big advantage to send that error report. Besides aiding MS research as ravencajun says you can also learn things from it.

Recently my main machine simply shut down and rebooted with no warnings. Not nice! So I sent the error report and then read the reply. Amazingly the cause was a .dll file associated with my Logitech webcam - something I rarely if ever use. The webcam is no longer connected.

Reading those reports is not too difficult, just look for the cause and how to fix. Sometimes nothing can be done but other times as noted above it was a simple fix.
