*grin* that was the problem, I think. I forgot the title of my post. But thank you, I didn't realize I could search for the title. I was trying just single words. I don't have a phone with Internet access yet, so I don't generally worry about answers coming directly to me. Besides, if I did that, I'd miss some awesome information offered between what I'm looking for!! The bed where I want to put them is about 1.5' wide, and 10' long. It's at the edge of a retaining wall, so I could go farther back away from the edge if I need to. 1.5 ft is just the width I've usually planted. I don't think DH would begrudge a little more of his lawn. It's getting a fair amount of sun right now, about 5 hours, but once the big maple leafs out, that will go to all but 2 hrs dappled. The 2 hours of straight sun is before 1 pm, so it's not as strong as later. I went ahead and returned the unknowns to Home Depot this morning, because I'd just rather have something that I can point to and call by name. I did walk out to the garden area, just to see what they had this morning, and the other hostas like what I returned all have weird little spots on the leaves. Not browned, just kind of dimples with the bumps on the underside of the leaf. Pretty funny/odd looking. I was even more glad I didn't keep them. While I was out did some scouting at a couple (two) nurseries close by. The bigger one had only a few, and all names that I know get pretty big. Elegans, um- - - Francee?, and one called Wide Brim. There were others, just nothing that said anything less than 36" wide. The smaller privately owned nursery has a huge display of Patriot. It's the color I like, with the white margins so it's bright in the shade. What about that one? I am trying to bracket a semi miniature rose with matching plants. I'll also research before I go back and buy them, but hearing from people who really know a plant variety is soo helpful! Thank you ALL! Lynn T

ginny12 By 9 a.m. today we have already had thunder, lightening, snow, ice, hail and its still raining--I am not going anywhere, so I decided to play awhile. If I understand right, you want the people to appear in alphabetical order on your email even though it is sent BCC. I tried several ways before I got what you want. Here is how I did it. I opened my Address Book and clicked on the Group Folder on the left Then in the right-hand column, I clicked that little arrow until the names were alphabetically descending (with "Z" at the top). Then still in the Address Book, I went to the File menu and left clicked on "Edit" >> "Select All" (highlighting all the names/addresses) of the "group" on the right. then still in the Address Book, I went back to the File Menu and left clicked on "Tools" >> Action">> Send Mail" and an email will open with the names/addies all in the "To:" line in ascending order. Click into the "To:" line Then I once more went to "Edit">> "Select All". Then back up to "Edit>>and "Cut" Then click into the BCC line and "Edit">> "Paste" They then paste in alphabetical order. I had made up a group and sent it this way to my friends and when I checked the properties in the sent folder, all of the name/addies were in ascending alphabetically order. Hope this works for you. This wasn't exactly random but a few months ago I witnessed a car hit a brand new car in the parking lot outside my work, and the guys just parked and walked away. He hit it really hard so he obviously knew he had done it. I walked up to the new car and it had huge scratches on it. So I left a note for the owner with my info saying I had witnessed it, and I took a bunch of pics of her car (and his car) on my cell phone. The woman called me when she got back to her car and I got her email and forwarded her all the pictures and a statement of what I witnessed. Her insurance company called me the next day and I forwarded it all to them also. Anyway, I forgot all about it and a few weeks later the lady showed up at my work with a card and a box of fancy chocolates for me! She had gone into the few businesses around our block to figure out where I worked. She asked all about my work (a non-profit that houses homeless people) and she took my card and said she would also make a donation! She was so sweet and appreciate about the small kindness I had done her! It comes back to you exponentially!
