I am running Windows XP and have some pictures on Picasa 3. I would like to know if there is another free site to go on and save my pictures to? With Picasa 3 the trouble I am having is trying to download them onto a flash drive to save. I had about 550 and when I had finished down loading them to my flash drive and played them back to myself, I had about 1500 pictures. This is very frustrating as I dont know all the people.

Any advice that you can give me would be most appreciated. Thank you.

If you want to pay a small fee I suggest Flicker. for free most are limiting the number of pictures that you can display.(Same with the free Flicker by the way)There are others like Photo Bucket. However I prefer Flicker.

Why not simply burn them to a CD? If they are up to about 1 megabyte each in size the whole lot will fit on just one CD and are there whenever you want them.

YOU don't need to change a thing with that beautiful face of yours, gorgeous smile, infectious personality and THOSE LOVELY BROWN LOCKS!!! Can this delphinium be saved? (pictures)

Good News... The little droopy delphinium made it!! I decided to treat it as an experiment and see what happened. It was interesting because a) a new sprout appeared in about 2 weeks, and b) it focused all of its energy on preserving the buds and sprouting anew. I trimmed all the truly dead leaves and noticed that there were new leaf buds appearing. Plants just amaze me...it is amazing how they are both very resilient and very fragile to the elements. Here is a picture roughly 2 weeks later...

Did you recently install or remove any application focused on pictures or viewing? Did you check to see which application on your system is currently associated with .jpeg files? I used the Photo Deluxe years ago. Do you have it on your system? If so and if my old memory is correct, on the application's Toolbar there is somewhere a Preference or Option offering that when clicked on will provide you a portal to selecting PD as the default viewer. If it is checked, uncheck it. Fingers crossed. DA

ok first of all if you actually had got firefox all you would have got was firefox so if you got something that put a bunch of other stuff on your desktop and elsewhere then you got a bad link that was not the legit firefox download. Try to do the restore as Joe said before you installed the firefox. either way you need to run an updated malwarebytes scan immediately. I would also run a free updated superantispyware scan. You obviously have downloaded malware that is now taking over parts of the pc and affecting your pictures and files. We recently had some posts on how careful one has to be now when doing downloads because even sites that once were safe to download from are no longer trustworthy and we are seeing a lot of people ending up with something other than what they wanted. Do you remember where you got the download for mozilla firefox? Malwarebytes SUPERAntiSpyware both are free install update and run full scans let us know what was found.

I probably have 2,000 photos on my PC and copies on an external hard drive and some on CD's. I figure my PC and ex hard drive won't go out at the same time.

There's windows.live.com which has sort of 3 choices ... SkyDrive, Spaces & Photo's .

winkflash ;)

winkflash is one I have used that so far does not have a limit or make you purchase something yearly to keep your albums, I also use imageshack a lot I love it since there are some great firefox add ons for it.

I back up all my photo folders from my pc to CD or DVD and also have back up drives, plus I use Adrive online storage which gives 50gig free storage.

I use adrive & boxnet also if you put your pics. in a folder you can move entire folder to flash drive..
