Creating hyperlinks

Can anybody tell me how to create hyperlinks in Hotmail?

When I type in an email, I frequently Copy and Paste a URL for the recipient. Sometimes it turns blue, sometimes not. In Windows Mail, it turns blue, and becomes a hyperlink. But in Hotmail, it always remains as a URL, regardless of whether I see it as blue (at my end - never for the recipient) or not.

I use Firefox with Linkification (which works on some discussion sites, but not all), have Vista.

unfortunately that was part of the change with hotmail and I hate it, used to just copy and paste any url in there and it made it a clickable link automatically but now you have to put the url in the email then you have to hilight the url then go up to the tool line of the email and click on the insert link icon (looks like a globe with a chain in front of it) that opens a box in that box you paste the url and click ok (you have to remove that http that is already in the box first) then when you go back to the link in the email it will turn into a clickable link.
What an ordeal to have to go through when before all it took was simply pasting it in. I can not imagine how they can think this is an improvement.
When you are doing long lists of links it is unbearable to do and is why I have other email clients I use for those.

However if you use it with IE instead of firefox apparently you do not have to do all that, I do not use IE. It is one of the most complained about issues with the change in hotmail.

He really is, and you know what's funny? Mom adopted Travis 3 1/2 years ago from a GSD rescue, and we were told that he killed a cat and that's why his previous owners gave him up. They claimed that he was aggressive with all small animals, and recommended she never let him around small animals or dogs, and until this year she's been terrified he'd kill a small animal if he got loose, even though he's usually the sweetest dog in the world. So, during April I had to live with my mom a month, in between moving to a new apartment, and had my 3 dogs with me. Well Travis is in LOVE with my greyhound Moya but he and my JRT butt heads and will fight, but that's my JRT's fault. And Lolly was so tiny, only 3 1/2 months old, we just kept her and Travis apart. But one night there was a terrible storm and a tornado touched down very close to my mom's house, and me, my mom, Travis, and my 3 dogs all had to hunker down in the laundry room. I was holding Lolly, and I looked down and she and Travis were licking each others' faces, acting like long-lost buddies! We let them play together after that, and I take her over there for play dates all the time. Small-animal aggressive, my foot! Sorry, didn't mean to get so off-topic!

I have been involved with Showplace Wood Products (Showplace Cabinetry) since it became a company (first posting) and would encourage you to check out a Showplace dealer for your quartersawn cabinetry I see Joyce mentioned having been quoted Showplace for a significant dollar amount and find the dollars mentioned alarming and certainly not normal. I would expect you would be able to buy Showplace very near Medallion. Could be a little higher or lower depending on how exact/similar the cabinets and/or installation are specified. Couple of important things that work in your favor right now; Showplace has significant price promotions directly related to species upcharges right now - this is especially important when shopping quartersawn since that is such a premium specie. Also, if you are interested in inset, Showplace recently reduced their pricing on inset somewhere areound 15% so if you couple that with the temporary specie price reduction you've really got something. The Showplace interior is not white, but it is a wood-grain printed laminate which is applied to plywood and has a urethane topcoat for durability and smoothness which is nice for cleaning. Finally, when you buy quartersawn white oak (and it is white oak which is more authentic than quartersawn red oak) from Showplace, all of the components from plywoods, to frames, doors, drawer fronts, moldings, etc are true quartersawn white oak. Many other brands will mix other oak material for items that are not as noticible but which prevent the total kitchen from having a truly authentic appearance. Check them out closely. I love the way this community appears to interact with everyone genuinely looking to be helpful. Best advice is always to check multiple brands and even dealers sometimes. I'm certain Showplace will earn their fare share of business from this group - they're that good. :)

Hi bristlingacres, I am the writer of the Decorating in Prairie style articles on the rug website. I wanted to explain what I mean by "organic architecture". It is different from what most people think of "organic". Most people describe "organic" as something that looks like plants, flowers, along the lines of "organic gardening". Also people looking at Modern designs describe organic shapes as very elongated curvy types designs. Nothing rigid. I think the shapes the "stuff" in a lava lamp are organic. For "organic architecture" that I write about, it means that the home and all the furnishings are designed for the specific site. Frank Lloyd Wright used the term all the time, so since my rugs are geared towards people who like that concept, I use the term organic in that context. Since the Prairie style houses are generally low, horizontal, rectilinear structures, the furniture designed for those homes were rectilinear. The art glass windows were mostly designs of the wild plants found near the building site of the house. The architects of the time would do geometric abstractions of those plants in the window design. If rugs were designed specifically for the home, then they would echo those geometric designs. Thus (finally got here, whew) the rug designs tend to be geometric motifs and not the curvy or plant like designs that most associate with the term organic. I agree, my designs are not for everyone, but for the people who are attracted to the whole concept and like a linear abstraction - they seem to be the ticket. By the way I think the rug you picked is a great addition to a Craftsman look and feel. Thanks for looking at my website.

Sheba I hope you enjoy your new ones. I almost ordered William R. Smith, too, but decided to wait. Thank you, Virginia, for sharing a bloom from yours. I only thought to take pictures once the bands were potted up. The packaging was great and both roses arrived in good shape and generous proportions. Alice Hamilton Mrs. B. R. Cant on the right (could not crop out Mrs. Charles Bell-reverting-to-Radiance). Justin
