Appreciate the link, but was hoping someone out there might have had some dealing with the browser, and come up with some insights and shortcuts for themselves, and not just cut and dried from the manufacturer.
Will keep fingers crossed and hope for the best.

The two best things you can do are:
1. Walk through the tutorial, and
2. Then use it.

That will be much more helpful than getting some stray tips here...

To me .. The fun part of anything new, (and that includes browsers) is the experimenting and discovery of all the 'neat stuff'!

I donloaded it, and after seeing it was such a bare bones browser, I just removed it without even looking at the tutorial. Imho, to me it wasn't much better than just Googling everything. I've read where a lot of folks didn't like it and think it is a browser one either loves or hates.

Chrome is very fast, very good, very simple & allows google to learn a lot about you & your surfing habits.

I've been using Chrome as my default browser for a couple of years. I like the minimalist look, but it does have all sorts of add-ons that you can use. I have WOT, AdBlock, XMarks, etc. All I can suggest is just give it a try. Using it here, I never have any of the annoying ads or popups.

Chrome is just the reverse of most browsers.

Most browsers are 'pre-loaded' with all kinds of junk.

Some junk that you can use .. Some junk that you don't Want to use. 8)

Chrome is bare-bones .. a blank slate that allows YOU to load your own junk!

3. By a user doing the work personally they learn faster, better, and will be ready to assist members with specific concerns.

thank you all for your insights, have kept the browser, appreciate the speed with downloading, much faster than Ff, and as I do a lot of downloads, this is key for me, at least so far.
I am not much of one for all the bells and whistles, so appreciate grandms opinion on the browser, and also DA, learning by doing is always a good way to do something new. I am going to see how things turn out, and then take it from there, again thanks to all of you for opinions expressed, and knowledge gained. How wonderful that there are those with this knowledge to share!

I tried Chrome and it just was not to my liking so I deleted it. I agree jump in with both feet and give it a go plus remember that google is your friend!! If you have the question likely someone else has already asked it too.
