You obviously do not understand my question. I am using Outlook. Outlook informs you of the presence of a message by placing it in the In-box. In order to do anything with that message, including delete, you must 'click' on it. Once you click on it either left or right, you 'open' it and expose yourself to whatever risks are inherent therein. Maybe your system does not work that way, but mine does.

are you viewing this through firefox or Ie? If you are using a browser to view try clearing the cache on it and the cookies to see if possibly a bad one is causing the problem. If we knew more info we could give more specific instructions it is very difficult when we are guessing.

you can try copy all then go to your blank doc and select edit, paste special, unformatted text, that usually makes it simple and all fits in the doc. Then print the doc

What was the suffix on the original email you could not open? Was it .pps - .ppt - or was there an additional x on the end of either suffix? You cannot simply change a suffix, all that does is ruin the file entirely. If you have MS Office you do not need Open Office. However if it is an older version (97, 2000 or 2003) and you receive a PowerPoint 2007 presentation it may not work. You can download the stand alone player from Microsoft from the link below. Take a look here and see if that cures your problem. PowerPoint presentations are among the best emails you can get in my opinion. The program was and still is basically a program for the office environment but many have found it an excellent way to show off family or scenery photos.
