Here is a link that might be useful: Headset-

Zep516,
That link is for the head set for listening to the music player on the phone. I am talking about the headset Bluetooth for talking hands free. That link was not what I am looking for.I am talking about the head piece that people wear on one ear when they are using the Bluetooth properties of their phone.

OH my sorry,

Any bluetooth device should work as long as it says bluetooth you should be ok..

What Zep said. I have a Motorola bluetooth headpiece and had no trouble at all connecting with my phone. As long as the phone is bluetooth compatible, any headset will do. One consideration is whether you are more comfortable with an "in ear" device or one that sits outside the ear. My daughter swears by hers that has an earbud, and I like mine which has a loop over the ear and the device sits outside the ear.

Thanks Zep516, Grandms! When I get paid , I know where I can get a headset for a small price. Then I will be all set with this phone. Hubby has the car charger that we both can use since he has the black version of the Shine, mine is the silver, I have the data cable to transfer media to computer and vice versa. Now all I need is the headset.

Twice in maybe the past 4 or 5 years I have been run into by women talking on cell phones. One was wireless or hands free.
Both times I was stopped and saw them coming and had nowhere to go, nothing I could do, except brace for impact and watch it happen. Minds are elsewhere when on those things.

I have become very paranoid now when I see anyone talking on a cell phone driving anywhere near me.

Yes, like Mikie, I have grave reservations about driving and using the phone hands-free or otherwise. It is just not safe! If my phone rings while I am driving I do not answer unless I can pull off the road and stop. Otherwise, I just let my voice mail record the message. Nothing can be that important that you risk the lives of those around you by your inattention to your driving.

Now I'll get off my soapbox. Please use good sense.

Grandms,
I do not answer my phone when I am driving. I think if they call me after I have left home the answering call can wait till I have got to my destination before I call them back.

Good. I didn't mean to sound like a scold and apologize if I came across that way.

When I first got my bluetooth headset, I walked around the house with it on and made several calls. I must admit I seldom use it now, and I'm sure it needs to be recharged.

No apology needed Grandms. I was not offended. I understand that every one needs to have both hands on the wheel when driving.I know what can happen if the driver's attention is diverted by trying to open a phone or any thing else .
