About extreme air temperature, i checked Miami, Florida U.S.A. weather data. On pr column is period time in hours of which maximum and minimum temperature was taken. There is many maximum and minimum temperature taken in one day time. Maximum and minimum taken in time 04:59 is summary of the day which is normal time Miami, Florida, U.S.A. last minute in day and period of time is 24 hours so it contains maximum and minimum temperature from previous day. If you remember times are GMT, not local times so that time is 23:59 in Miami, Florida, U.S.A. local time on previous day what date is text. So 20140625 day is summary of the day 24 day of june 2014 in Miami, Florida U.S.A. On columns M is maximum temperature and N is minimum temperature. Number after that character is the temperature, so after M next number is the maximum temperature. You can read pr time this way if it is for example 12.0 which means during past 12 hours ending date and time which are in date and hr mn column maximum and minimum temperature was this and this. Note time which maximum and minimum was recorder might have been on 2 days local time. If you think how you can know which day the maximum temperature occured, i think you can't be sure, but you can try compare it to weather data or use common sense. On NOWdata have U.S.A. weather data. It have Miami, Florida U.S.A. temperature data from 1895. Those have daily data, temperature graphics. You can select them and choose dates and see the data.

Hiya Norma, Thanks for your efforts, interesting stuff. I liked that paragraph you wrote exactly 'cause it spoke so well about diversity of habitat in which Sans can be found. Thanks for allowing its use, I hope to incorporating it into my talk (w/ credit of course). I can't check you for accurancy, wouldn't begin to know where to look & have no access to the reference materials it sounds like you do. I know you well enough to know you when you try & share info. on GW, you give it your very best, that's certainly good enough for me! The talk I'm planning on giving will be much more general in nature & scope, esp. 'cause I'll be speaking to Indoor Gardening group (much more 'Houseplanty' type growers). I imagine they're NYC apmt dwellers for the most part, maybe have the ocassional summer home, certainly no greenhouses. Specifically, they're not succulent types (tho' I know number of members who also belong to the local C&S Society). I'll be bring in 1/2 dozen or so, as will other members, my main goal is to showcase lots of diff. Sans to folks who may only be familiar with the ubiquitous S. trifasciata laurentii (w/ its yellow stripe, that I particlarly dislike). I'll be taking: S. pinguicula (beauty that Jeff brought me 2 yrs. ago) w/ its rosette on a stolon S. Hi Silver (name uncertain, but given me by a very knowledgeable member collector, sadly now passed away); lovely rosette of long, graceful, slender, arching leaves S. cylindrica (deliberately small & young) showing they can be contained in a small space S. moonshine, small young, not spectacular, but shows its pretty, pale color S. patens (undergoing strange changes after 5-6 yrs. of doing nothing, threw a pup a month ago, growing like crazy, yet the parent plant fan is loosing a couple of leaves, just had to twist off an ailing portion of it tonight). I turned it out last wknd to check the roots, maybe lost some, but the pup is going gangbusters & looks entirely diff. than parent. The pup came up a paddle-shaped leaf as flat as a sheet of paper. Wonderful example of the juvenile growth having a diff. form that the parent Couple w/ guessed IDs: S. concinna (one of my favorite forms) S. socotra (those exposed rhizomes w/ long petioles ending in smallish spoon shaped leaves) S. hallii (small baseball bat) couple no IDs w/ thick, long cylindrical leaves w/ ridges that curve backwards a no ID short rosette, solid green leaves, wavy ruffled edges, rust edges, very pretty. Friends expect to be bringing (a few at least that I know of): S. bantel's sensation, a mature (one of my all time faves, would love to find some) S. unknown (from Kew, I hear it's very dark, almost black) whatever else other members bring to show &/or ask about. Thank you all for your comments (except for vhehn - seriously, if you want to tell me I'm an idiot (or, conversely, that you are the smartest person in the world), why hide it, just tell me you think I'm a moron and be done with it. You don't know me, and you assume that I'm throwing away perfectly good (and hard-earned, mind you) money because I'm a d*mb*ss. If gloating in front of someone who's down is the way you roll, I'm so glad I don't know you in person.) - 15 hours after the initial discovery of "OMG, it's happened again" (and the resulting pit in our stomaches), our anger and sadness has mellowed a bit, abut we're both intent on salvaging this situation in a professional and drama-free manner. I probably haven't chewed on the situation enough, but after digesting your comments and putting all the pieces together, I'm inclined to do the following: 1) wait for her response (except I really really really want/need to know if we submitted, and/or if we're submitting on Monday, omg......), 2) unless there's a fantastic reason why Friday didn't go as agreed, request an off-site coffee meeting with the architect and synthesize your comments in to a conversation that says, basically: look, we think you're a really talented architect [she is!], but it's clear you're extremely busy, and maybe too busy to devote the type and timing of attention on our project that we need. It's causing us a lot of unnecessary stress and heartburn, especially this early in what we know will be a stressful year and a half [between the rest of planning and the build]. We see a couple of good solutions: a) now that you know how difficult the slipping of schedule has been on not only the timing of our project but on us personally, if you'd like to continue working on our project, we'd like to continue working with you, but we need hard milestones. [and then discuss the milestones, timing, etc....maybe these need to be in writing.....]. 2) if you're just too busy and don't see that changing, we'd be disappointed but would be willing to transfer the plans to another architect to complete - do you have any that you'd recommend? How do we properly transfer the plans? As you can tell, I do soft-pedal rather than throw blame in situations like this - I'm very willing to be firm, but it needs to be in my own voice, and unfortunately (I guess), that's my voice when dealing with people that I actually like (err, you "heard" my other voice above, when responding to others!). chisue - thank you for understanding, and yes, she's licensed, has a nice boutique business, and is actually really talented. she just sucks as client service. We found her as a referral from a neighbor who has (in our opinion) the prettiest new build in the neighborhood - we live in a 50's era rancher town on quarter acre lots in a part of the country where that's considered really big - most of the Bay Area is on 4000-5000 sq ft lots). To his credit, he DID warn us that while she's a terrific architect, she'd be "tough to get a hold of, as she's very busy" (maybe that was neighbor-code for "she'll miss every deadline"). dixiedoodle - agreed, I'm not planning on getting any $ back, so that's not what I'm after. Actually, for the $ we've paid thus far, we ((heart)) the house plan. Yes, in hindsight, the comments that translate to "they're more important than you" are, at best, inappropriate. At the time(s), it seemed more like casual chit-chat. feedingfrenzy, sue36 and sovra - thank you all - your comments and thoughts are the basis for the planned conversation. We actually *would* like her to see the plans through, just need to figure out how to tell her that we can't continue this way, it's too painful. 2006? That sounds about right but it's been a while in any case. Did you think my message was spam? I forgot to add a disclaimer - I have no affiliation whatsoever with Republic Wireless, it's parent company or subsidiaries. I just though the service sounded interesting and the information might be of value to forum members. I'd like to give their service a shot. With an entry fee of $100 and $20 per month with no contract it seems like a no-brainer. I have WiFi at home and at work and don't make that many calls. If the had a better phone available, I might have given it a shot. The Optimus is supposed to be a pretty decent entry level Android phone but it's screen is much too small for my taste.
