do you have all of your windows updates done? that is from some time ago and there were some windows updates that took care if it back then. what exactly are you being told?

have you run the secunia tool lately to see if it shows you have any updates missing?

Sorry for the double posting...1st one came back and said error occurred sending it & didn't show up till I posted the 2nd one.

Yes I have all xp windows updates. The only one it shows is sp3 which I really don't want to do yet. I ran the OSI but it didn't show anything except sp3.
Kaspersky Suite says:

I went to the folder which tells me not to put it in the recycle bin and to delete infected components individually but it won't let me open the folder to see what the components are. I'm at a lost of what to do next. Thanks

Just for fun run a Malwarebytes scan.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop. Click here
Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediately.

I run malwarebytes on both my computers weekly (takes 1-1/2 hrs)& just did it yesterday on the xp before posting....nothing ever shows up. Log always show 0 for everything. (sorry didn't keep log) Kaspersky never finds anything either except vulnerabilities.
So far ran:
Malwarebyes
Super Anti Spyware
Ad Aware
Win Patrol

Nothing is showing...all is clean except Kasper's vulnerability. ?????
