'remembering' ? from newbie

Good afternoon...

I use a public computer, and am having a problem with it "remembering" me when I go to a site. I know how to clear history, etc., but I think there is a setting that I can check/uncheck that will stop this problem. I don't WANT to be remembered...I want to log in every time I go to a site. Now, Yahoo has started remembering as well....and I would like to stop that too.

I am computer illiterate, so explanations need to be in words of one syllable.

Most sincere thanks for any assistance.

Are you able to use a USB thumb drive on the public computer? Your best bet would be to install the version of firefox that will run on a thumb drive and surf directly from it.

Since I've never used a public computer, I don't know if you are even able to change the setting - internet explorer - tools - internet options - content tab - personal information - auto complete - clear everything, then uncheck the options

crsliz, I think there are as many ways people store their Cannas as there are Cannas. I grow most of mine in pots and I bring the pots and all in to the basement after the frost takes the leaves down. I give the soil a good washing with the hose. The Temp in the basement is between 50 -60 degrees. There is very little light. I water my pots about a 8 oz glass of water once a month, Just enough so they do not dry out. They start to sprout in March and I usually can put a good size growing plant outside at the end of May. You have to experiment and see what works for you. I just do not have time to dig up plants so any tender plants I grow are grown in pots and are used on the Patio, and Deck.

I often think about squirrel and her photoshop generosity. I think she decided to turn her skill into a business. I hope it worked out. There was a poster that lived in AZ and had health issues. (Eileen?) Her posts were very polarizing but I occasionally wonder if she is well. It's interesting that some people seem to get obsessed with this site, post like crazy, bare their soul and then vanish.

Yes so I see Nik, although I think I might prefer its hybrid 'R. Headleyensis', as it appears to have larger blooms and more compact growth, if I was needing one of these, but I agree with Lisa that 'Father Hugo' has that evening primrose look which is so attractive. just to edit this, I think you're right actually. R Hugonis seems to be the same as 'Father Hugo' according to HMF, although Beales's photo doesn't do it justice. 'Kew Gardens' tends to fulfil this sort of role in my garden though, so I have to pass for now, reluctantly.

Could this be it? Mexican Hat Coneflower Mexican Hat (also known as upright prairie coneflower, long-headed coneflower, and Mexican Hat Flower) is an interesting native perennial that has unique blooms. Great! I would make sure the box doesn't get reset before using it again and would also consider the firefox on a thumb drive
