Shanti, Color is by all means the best way to compliment any architectural design. What my wife and I had in mind when we purchased our new home was to use colors according to the mood we wanted to create in each of those living areas. We chose a lilac for the master bedroom which in my opinion works wonderful. A light blue for our son's room and a tan for the family room. You may have a hard time finding the right color for you since the colors available may be somewhat limited. You may want to purchase a particular color and adjust it by adding another color or tint to the color you have. You can use artists acrylic colors to do this or just regular acrylic latex paints. A word of caution if you do this is: Mix enough if not a little more paint than you might use since it would be nearly impossible to achieve the same color unless you use a formula ie. 1 cup of white , 3 cups of blue. And don't add too many colors or you will end up with a muddy color. Artists and designers use a color formula known as the Pantone matching system, you may want to check it out on the net. They have a wide arrange of colors as well as formulas to mix them. Another hint: You want to avoid the strong smell of a newly painted home? Add a little vanilla extract to your paint and mix it well. It will not alter the color of your paint and you will not have to sleep outside because the smell of paint drives you nuts. Thanks to everyone who has given me suggestions so far- I am still trying to figure out the process. I spent a month in the recliner with a fracture a couple years ago, and know it tooo well. I have had the facing wall painted a different color, got rid of the rolltop desk, and put different pictures on the wall....lol...at least this time I have some control over what I will be staring at...also got an ereader since I won't have both hands to hold and turn pages. I am gathering up necessities, chapstick, emery board, tape, pens (like I will be scribbling with my left hand...not...) and things like that in a basket next to chair. I will have my husband fabricate some kind of handle that we can remove later to flip up the recliner. He can build anything.. I am still worrying about clothes, I have checked out the thrift stores for some 3x mens shirts, maybe I could "femimize" them a little. Haven't found any yet..will only need maybe 4-5, then should be able to use something else. I hope. At least with some before time planning and help from my garden web friends, I should have this under control when it happens... Now, if somebody would make me quit stress eating...I should get a couple 6-packs of SlimFast since I won't have my fork hand to feed me for a while... Pam

Good to know Zee. I'm a graphic designer and have all the latest and greatest programs (Premier, iMovie, After Effects, etc.) at the office on my Mac but nothing on my PC when I'm home and want to edit videos. Forgot all about Movie Maker! Jodi-
