Here's one for you.....I was having trouble opening my CD-Rom drive and finally managed to get it open by continually tapping on the open/close button while rebooting.
I look at the CD that was sitting inside the drive and it has a sticky substance around the clear circle surrounding the hole.
So I figure it must have been something I did. I put in another totally clean CD and the same thing happens! Can't get the drive open and finally when I do, there's the sticky substance again. It look like an adhesive (kind of like when you can't get a price sticker off something).
I am totally mystified. I didn't spill anything on it. It's under my desk. Any ideas?
