Wreaths on glass doors

I'm currently sitting huddled in my kitchen/family room while installers are putting in a new Pella front door (3/4 glass) and three new windows. I should also mention that it's only 20 degrees out, so right now the heat is off, and we're open to the great outdoors, which is why I'm in the kitchen with the fireplace on. Anyway, back to my question.

My husband won't let me use one of the over the door wreath hangers as he's afraid of scratches, and the glass in the new door is actually three panes thick with air space in between, so magnetic won't work. How do you hang a wreath on a glass door in a cold climate when the glass is that thick? I'm guessing that the command hooks won't work in cold temps, or the suction cup hangers. The door is fiberglass, not wood.
