I think the best way to save a web page, if you're using Internet Explorer, is to go to File, Save As then under Save as type, scroll to Web Archive, single file (*.mht) and click save... It saves the whole page just as you see it on the internet...

Your front screen picture goes on your clipboard.

To create a clipboard shortcut.
Right click your desktop - Go to new - Click shortcut - type - clipbrd - next - Click finish.
Your Clipboard shortcut will be on your Desktop.

You can open your clipboard to see what you have copied.
I prefer ScreenHunter 4.0 to capture small sections of a website for easy croping.

I used cboy's clipboard shortcut but when I open it there is no screenshot. Paste is greyed out in the menu.

Opened Irfanview and clicked Paste - the screenshot appeared.

What am I missing?

Exit Irfanview and press Prt Scrn key and see if the clipboard now shows your picture.
Your not supposed to use paste in the clipboard. All you need is something to capture the picture like print screen or some other software. As soon as you capture the picture it will be on the clipboard.
