I purchased my Cub in 1999. GOt a 2135 for yard work and a snow thrower attachment for the drive in the winter. First two years were great. After that, nickle and dime issues, VERY POOR reliability, electrical wiring issues, stearing parts broke, in 2006 the engine died with 234 hours on it (we think a valve rod bent) It was the most unreliable piece of equipment I have ever owned (and it was $4,300 for the setup in 1999) Service from the dealer was 'ok' but they had big International Harvester (or whatever they're called now) equipment to work on, so my cub was of little importance, profit wise. I understand that these are made by MTD and not IH like they were in the 80's. MTD makes mediocre equipment at best and the Cub Cadet is a testimony to that decline in quality. It's like what happened to the US auto industry in the late 70's and early 80's. Focus is all about profit and nothing about quality and it's all overseas. I have since replaced it with a Simplicity (out of Washington state, I believe.) So far I'm VERY pleased with the quality and attention to details. Under 5 minutes to drop the mower deck AND remove the bagger. And 2 wheel traction is a nice plus when climbing uneven terrain. I'll never buy another MTD product again. Make sure you know what you're getting

RC, I'm not more concerned about Magic Jack than the others, I mentioned those because there were just so many of them. I have Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and Spyware Blaster, and update and run them about every two weeks. I just don't know what else to do to stop all this Spam, and find it odd that some have those messages on them. Sue

do you have friends or people that send you those emails with the long list of everyones email address still listed on them? And do you ever forward those emails on to others? If the answer to those questions is yes then you likely just provided the answer to why you get spam mail. Those emails where people do not bother to protect the email addresses by using the BCC feature are like a present for the people who send out spam they gather up those emails and harvest all those good email addresses. In fact many times those cute ones that are sure to be forwarded are started by the spammers If you do not use BCC when sending email to multiple people then start doing it now it is simple courtesy to help protect privacy and email addresses.

Two experiences - a friend started forwarding to me copies of (what to me was) extreme religious stuff that he's active with. After a few weeks of annoyance, I started replying to his emails with questions for him- saying stuff like "Do you really believe this baloney", or "Don't you find this argument silly", or "This contradicts xxxx", or whatever. Pretty ironical, I think he got tired of getting my emails, so he stopped sending the junk to me. Another person, who I think subscribes to every dumb joke email list that exists, started forwarding stuff to me. After a few days, I emailed him simply saying that I get too many daily emails to deal with, could he please take me off the mailing list. I don't think either person was hurt and the unwanted emails stopped. Maybe this is a male/female thing, I prefer to take an active approach to solve issues rather than a passive one.
