Ella, I just happen across your story this morning almost a year after you posted it. I dont even know if you'll get my post but.. I wanted you to know how touching this story was to me. My whole day will be changed as I think about what was posted. I will call my loved ones and tell them how I feel about them.. I will make time to spend with them no matter how hectic my day seems.I will share my feelings with friends and coworkers as I go about my day. I'll forget the rude remarks (I'm a cashier lol) and remember the compliments.. and I love the idea that someone I dont know loves me. Thanks for brighting up my day. razz

Maybe I will go over and read the cleaning forum for an explanation!! The two left (of about 20) were not the ones I wanted! Does anyone save their posts somewhere else? Is that possible! plumberry, I think you're correct in thinking that the fridge would be even more crowded than the oven in that doorway. Fridge doors are open many more times a day than oven doors. I like rhome's suggestion of placing the ovens between the pantry cabs. However, if you like them where you've placed them but are concerned about their doorway placement, then you could modify buehl's earlier suggestion of moving the doorway to give them a larger buffer. Give up 8" of the peninsula - 4' will accommodate 2 stools, 8" doesn't gain you another spot at the counter - and add that to the wall next to the ovens. The oven doors will still open into that entry but not by as much. But I have to ask, is the peninsula seating in the dining room absolutely necessary? If it's just a "well, every kitchen must have counter seating" thinking, then perhaps you should rethink this. If you lose the peninsula, you can shift the DR opening as much as needed to give your ovens the buffer you desire, even by as much as buehl suggested earlier in her drawing.

mama goose_gw zn6OH I've read a couple of posters have received notice that the message system is changing and their old messages have disappeared. I still have a list of old messages sent and received, so I could message someone by using an older message. I checked about a dozen members' pages yesterday and found none with the 'Message Me' button. ~~~ Right the "message tab" they refer to in the screen shot is non existent. After posting this, I got a message from someone I've messaged with in the past. I saw it up there under the Bell icon. When I clicked on it, I was able to read her message and see "old inbox." My old messages are there. But I can't get into it unless somebody messages me. I know I can get around that but it's confusing now. Nobody has "messaging" activated at the moment and there's no way to activate.
