Hello Ladies :)

I'm sorry for not having been present in the forums these last weeks - was so busy working to meet the Giant Squid Challenge I joined in October. Normally the situation should be quieter in January after the challenge deadline - I hope so!

But I couldn't do without getting in the forum before leaving for Brussels where I'll celebrate Christmas with my family.

I know that I'm not an Angel

But I asked a real Angel

To bring you and your family

Thanks for the good wishes, Rick. I would never have guessed last year when I saw my first concrete leaf and found this forum that so many talented people would share their information and ideas. I'm sure concrete wouldn't have seemed like such an adventure without all of you! I look forward to our next round of creativity. Hi! Isn't it great that you can post again. I re-joined about 2 months ago and have stopped by here to at least read every morning. Sorry to hear about your eyes. My eyes were giving me problems and so I went from cross stitch to plastic canvas (bigger holes!) now I am able to do some hand embroidery, so there is hope for you! I love my Ott lamp and couldn't work without it. Have a Merry Holiday and we will be watching for more post about your crafts!

There you are! Noticed you had been missing around here. So what's the weather like in Belgium in December? Hope it won't interfere with your traveling at Christmas, nice that you will be with your family. Best wishes on the contest, and don't forget to come here often in the New Year.

Thank you so much ladies for your kind words! I missed you so much too as I really feel good in this forum and it always boosts my imagination in anything that relates to home or holidays! Without you the season wouldn't be the same! And you taught me so much! You even inspired me last year when I was looking to buy new furniture for the living room!

We're back from Brussels, safe and happy to get back home, lol.

For as long as it's safe and honest, I can't resist to the word "Challenge" and, once again, I took one - I should stop doing so because it does take all the "free" time I have especially when it's a challenge in English; which isn't my first language.

Actually the Giant Squid Challenge is a challenge for a badge that all my Squidoo pages will showcase. It does mean that I'm good at building a Web page, with good information, how-to tutorials or anything that requires good content, that also includes nice related pictures - I know that you LOVE pictures with a passion ;)

This status will get me some special perks in the community. I had to build 50 pages to enter the challenge and I created 69 - will make a few additional ones.

Most of these pages relate to Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day and few other holidays; whether costumes, decorations, parties, gifts.

Unfortunately, this did prevent me from coming to the forum because not only did I built the pages but I also had to promote them while at the same time keep managing my own websites - you know, those that are related to Christmas, Halloween and Valentine's Day.

The adventure is pleasant and I hope becoming a Giant by the end of January as the review starts on January 1st.

As an example, I will give you a link to my Christmas collection that recaps all the Squidoo pages I made for Christmas as I created 17 pages for this holiday: parties, decorations, gift ideas, stocking traditions, etc. :D

Ok, so now, I'm going to check everything I missed in the forum, lol.
