Does this folder exist on both computers? %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Stationery If so, does the one contain files(html) and the other is empty(or non-existent)? If so, can you simply copy the stationery files from one computer to the other? I'm not saying it would work, I don't know, but it's easy enough to try. This is for Office 2010 but it still might work: Copy stationery to another computer

Hi, Pam ! 1. I went through the instructions as carefully as I could (viewing hidden files, etc.) and saw no security tab where I should have. I just tried to go there again ( C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\ ), but I can't even find "Office" anymore ! At least not under "All Users." It was only under "Owner." ??? Maybe that's because of the registry changes you suggested. Anyway... 2. No other administrators on the computer. Just me. And I only created a (temporary) second Administrator account to try your suggestion above. 3. Hmmmm... I don't actually use any of MS Office software on this computer. Soon after I bought it (a low-end HP desktop) I uninstalled the stuff I wasn't going to use. A few years later I bought an "Outlook 2003" disc simply for using that program (mainly for email). It installed w/o incident on at least 2 previous occasions. Only this time has it been giving me trouble. "sigh> I have a feeling I'm going to have to have a "Computer Guy" come over and actually look at the thing to get this straightened out. Unless you can think of something else. OP, I hope you're able to crack into your information. As info for others: If you've been using Outlook features but are moving from a PC with Outlook to one without it, export the information (both calender and contact data) into a file format that can be read by other programs. All the major free email sites (Yahoo, Gmail, likely many others) offer contact and calendar services that your exported Outlook information can be easily uploaded into. Also, other calendar or contact programs also can be populated with data in the non-proprietary, transportable file formats Owbist, backing up the data is good, but screen captures would mean having to re-input the data in the case of a drive failure. I have exported data files or data in multiple places - two different PCs, a backup drive, my smartphone, and Gmail.
