Kay: Oh my. I'll admit that I've done that myself. Thought I had uploaded to my computer, put the card back in and hit the format button to clear the card. My "what was I thinking" moment. Not to mention, forgetting to put the card back in the camera and heading out to the garden and wondering why the camera won't work. My "duh" moment. LOL. Marg: Scary not to find pictures. I hope when I can get back in I have all of mine otherwise this winter I'll be uploading photos all over again. Julia

I should clarify since my remark came across as offensive. Stainless findings attached to sterling handles became a good portion of the norm after WWII. They were quality pieces made that way by the leading silver makers & I wasn't trying to dis them. But within the past 20 years or so since Victorian silver has regained popularity (coinciding with the closing or moving of most of the American silver industry), all types of 'rare' pieces are popping up for the unsuspecting. Some with a one-size-fits-all, generic finding. It's my understanding that stainless wasn't used for knife blades until the 1920's & plated blades continued in use for many years. Therefore, if you find a supposedly rare, turn-of-the-century utensil with a stainless end, it probably isn't period, knives being the exception because the blades were meant to be replaced. If you like it, that's well & good but the piece isn't 100+ years old.

Zep516 I tried the link 192.168.1.1 and it did not work, I did something stupid by deleting the favorite link "wirespeed Data Gateway" which supposed to furnish me the 192.168.1.1 link and then I restored it and now everything works as it should. When I call my favorite "Wirespeed Data Gateway" I get 192.168.1.1 and it open up the Westell Modem window. I don't know why deleting and restoring a link fixes it.

She may have installed a hide ip type program for security most likely. Which connects to a proxy server then that proxy server goes to web address's she wants and resends data to her. Might look in the Control Panel at 'Internet Options' 'Connections' LAN button and uncheck the proxy server. And/Or find and uninstall the hide ip proxy program she installed.
